transfer trouble ( help )[请求]

I plan to transfer to another university in next semester. But the department has not decided whether I can get the scholarship or not. Today I send my TA and RA application form to the department. Ttoday the graduate school notify me they will send me I20 form. Bu my current university must set a release date for my information. So that they can transfer my SEVIS information from my current university. It means I must tell my current advisor that I want to transfer.  

I don't want to tell my current advisor that I want to transfer. If I cannot get the scholarship I will not transfer.If I tell the boss now and cannot get the scholarship fromt the new university I will have a big trouble.

Why some people who want to transfer can get the I20 form  before the tell the current university they want to transfer ? What should do now ? Can someone give me some suggestions about it ? thank you very much.

Well, I don't think the international center will issue you a new I-20 before you provide your fininal support certificate. That means if you're going to depend on the scholarship and wouldn't fill out the financial certificate, then your new school isn't supposed to issue you the I-20.

I suggest you to contact the international ceter and see what's happening there? Your situation is kind of weird. Good luck!

It is impossible, the old school must release you otherwise you have no way to get the new I-20 form. You should ask your new school to decide whether give you scholarship or not first and this is the only way that you are in a safe condition.

The graduate school has received my financial certificate already. I ever saw some  information in the bbs that some people just told the department after they get the I20 form.

我也看了精华区，有两三篇好一些，不过还是有些具体问题的，就象我说的推荐信的问题，怎么解决呢？总不能还是拿着以前的，又不好请现在的老师写，怎么办呢？是不是联系好老师就不用推荐信了？

说实话我就是这个学期才转学的,如果老的学校不release 你的话,新的学校是不可能给你发I20表的.
