Dr. Ming Li from CSE Department, the University of Texas at Arlington, is currently looking for highly self-motivated Ph.D. students who are strongly committed to research. The successful candidates are expected to conduct research in following areas: IoT, cybersecurity, and machine learning. Students with CS/CE/EE/Math background are strongly encouraged to apply. 关于实验室：我们实验室的研究课题紧跟业界前沿，既有实际应用，例如IoT，可穿戴设备计算，智能医疗系统搭建，也有理论探讨，例如机器学习的隐私保护，无线网络优化与资源分配。老师给学生充分课题选择自由，并尽力帮助学生在优秀会议发表论文。实验室目前有四位在读博士（其课题包含IoT security，smart living，privacy-preserving machine learning），三位硕士研究生，大家相处愉快融洽。今年我们希望再招收两名博士从事以上相关课题研究。如果对我们实验室感兴趣，可以直接联系Dr. Li或者实验室的学生。我们期待你的加入！

关于系和学校：美国德克萨斯大学阿灵顿分校属于美国最高的R1类公立研究型大学 ，其计算机系研究水平全美排名第60位 (http://csrankings.org/#/index?all, accessed 02/01/2020)，与其排名相近的包括U of Rochester (59), U of Notre Dame (60), RIT (62), U of Florida (62)。由于学校整体规模不大（但工程院很大），我系在国内知名度不及同档院系。我系培养的许多博士毕业后直接在美国各高校找到教职，硕士以及本科生的就业率也在全美排名前列。我校位于达拉斯地区，是目前美国经济发展最好的区域，生活丰富便利，大公司密集，实习和工作机会很多。达拉斯机场有北京，上海，香港的直飞航线。
