Choice is an illusion. In reality, our lives are controlled by the society in which we live
We are facing choice almost every minutes: sleep or get up, drink or not drink, go to meet someone or cancel the date with someone. Why do we make choice? It is determined by our demands. Though people may face some difficulty in making a choice, the author is arbitrarily to argue that choice is an illusion. However, people may change their discontented lives to better lives by incessant efforts. Both their conditions and efforts are real.
First, the real conditions urge us to make choice. For example, Mr. Li, one of my father's friends whose parents both go out of this world when he was a little boy, was impecunious after graduate. Once he said that he must lead a affluent life, and now he make it.
Secondly, as for the efficiency of every choice, we must consider the real conditions per se such as abilities, qualities skills, knowledge, various material or financial resources and so far. Nobody can fly to the sky with out the help of the aircraft; therefore, unpractical choice seems illusionary. So we must take efforts and time to improve our abilities, raise our skills and gather various recourses. Mr. Li whom mentioned above is still an aptly example: after accumulated sufficient fund and management skills, he found a factory himself. Any difficult is solved by his precondition.
In sum, we make shift in our discontented real lives by making a choice which lead to a better life. And choice is not by imagination but based on the status per se and preparative for the future. What’s more, there still many difficulties on the way to the final goal to overcome by incessant efforts.
