Issue 5 "A nation should require all its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college rather than allow schools in different parts of the nation to determine which academic courses to offer
   
  Whether the students should be introduced the uniform courses or different is a controversial issue and difficult to decide. Admittedly, I agree that popularizing the compulsory national curriculum, as the speaker’s claim, is beneficial to the entire society insofar as some fundament things can be infused. However I hold that some indigenous disciplines should also be required for the reason of the disparity of different areas.  
   
     As we all know, the end and purpose of the education is not simply for the “cultivation of the intellect”, but to lead the students to a “greater love and service of our lord”. For the development of students, some compulsory courses that refer to the fundamental values and common sense are able to promulgate to the students.  For one thing, it is essential that the government should give the national programs to the whole students so as to guarantee the inculcation of some basic merits.  Some influential tenets of teacher education which is the norm for the students when they leave the campus should also be instilled to everyone. The students no matter wherever states they belong to should keep in mind of the four freedoms ,which our citizens and friends are still fighting to protect at home and throughout the world and  learn that there is no eternal truth that is the impetus for us to dedicate to the research. If such basic ethical standards aren’t instilled into the students, what will our society be? All the history has taught us that the denial of these principles, the placement of man and the state at the core of the universe, results in a paralyzing mass selfishness. For another thing, such first things as national history, geography etc, which are the common thing to each citizen in the country are also behooved to be studied by all the national students.. It might have been ridiculous that a US citizen didn’t know which city is the capital of America.
   
     Even though some unified curriculums are conducive to nurture the students of the proper world idea, nevertheless, it is arbitrary to ignore of all the disparity and let all the students in different parts study the same courses. First, the teaching resources of different areas are sure not to be the same. It is wrong to give the programs which the school is unable to run .For example, it is unreasonable that a nation require the students to study computer science in which the school is lack of computers in some remote villages. To the same, it is impossible to require the students to learn the skills of swimming where there are not any swimming pools. Second different state of the nation may have individual culture traditions, certain regional history and their dialect. Curriculums specially deigned according to the regional factors can be suitable to the local students. Only by revising the books accord with the indigenous custom and language, can the students grasp the knowledge lucidly. Infusing some regional history and geography is important for the young students to know their own hometown. Third each bird has their own feather. Each school has their own advantage disciplines, their own teaching methods. What we should care for is whether the education aims has been gained or not, not the sorts of courses have been taught. As the old saying says that the surface is different, however the content is same.
     
    All in all, in order to achieve the end of education, a nation should combine the national courses with the distinctive endemic programs. Overemphasizing either the national government or the parochial leader’s role towards the determination of the curriculum may fall into jeopardous situations.

对于语言，我的建议是，不需要用那么多生涩的的词语，实际上，不管是看北美280好还是网上流传的优秀习作好，都有一个共同的特点，就是用的都是些耳熟能详的词语，但十分native，看着特别舒服。再辅以多变的句式，语言就没问题了。多看看280很有帮助的
