Issue43
To be an effective leader, a public official must maintain the highest ethical and moral standards.
Must a public official maintain the highest ethical and moral standards to be an effective leader, as the speaker claimed? In my point of view, though a public official should follow ethical and moral standard to some extent and even in most cases they should do further than common people, it is needless and even impossible for a public official to maintain the highest ethical and moral standards.

To begin with, how a public official can be called an effective leader? The speaker unfairly contends that the highest ethical and moral standards are the threshold for a public official to be effective. Generally speaking, it is necessary to draw a distinction between effective leadership with ethical and moral standards. The former is closely related with the public affairs under an official by the control of regulation, laws, and so on; the latter involves the realm of thinking and spirits, which vary form party to party, nation to nation, time to time. A public official owning the highest ethical and moral standards in his stand accomplish nothing to do with his/her effective leadership in itself. The first and foremost thing for a official is to take the responsibility of what the leadership endow him/her to make the profits or merit for the people entitle him/her. Suppose a public official is prudential in everything following the highest ethical and moral standards as he/her expect. Maybe he/she can be an ethical and moral defender more than a public servant. And also over care of maintaining the ethical and moral standards might definitely inhibit a public official from devoting her/his time and energy to the public service. For that matter, he/she is not qualified to be an effective leader.

In addition, a public official in nature is common people whatever he/she is a president of a country or a governor of a state. They live the lives as our common, they take the similar education as us and they do the routine stuff as the general people everyday. It is unfair to assume that they are flawless people always on the right perspective. As human nature public officials have the same foibles which may inherent connected with human as a spice in the nature. They have fear, selfishness, greed and so forth which we are share. Finding a public official maintaining the highest ethical and moral standard means find no man to take the duty of public servants. For example, Bill Clinton's sexual scandal in White House undoubtedly betrayed the ethical and moral standards. Nevertheless, he was still justified effectively so as in the responsibility he took to be a president.

Admittedly, it does not follow that a public official can leave alone ethical and moral standards. Psychologically, public people are likely to expect their officials be unimpeachable in the realm of ethic and moral. This reflects the mentation to the extent that the public masses expect their leader own higher ethical and moral standard than them. For one thing, the mass might doubt the capability of a public official to be a leader when he/she obviates ethical and moral standards despite of which is not involved in public service. For another, failing to keep higher ethical and moral standards might lose the psychological power and confidence which are mostly important for a plan or policy to be effectively conducted by the mass.

To sum up, it is not realistic for a public official to maintain the highest ethical and moral standards, for the highest ethical and moral standards are not crucial to be an effective leader and men's nature determines that everyone including public official has ones own foibles. Nevertheless, to make his/her leadership effectively conducted, a public official should not run country to the ethical and moral standards

Must a public official maintain the highest ethical and moral standards to be an effective leader, as the speaker claimed? Infrom my point of view, though a public official should follow ethical and moral standard to some extent and even in most cases they should do further thando further than?别扭 是说要比普通人做的好要求高吧 common people, it is needless and even impossible for a public official to maintain the highest ethical and moral standards.

A public official owning the highest ethical and moral standards in his stand accomplish nothing to do with his/her effective leadership in itself.nothing?太绝对了吧 The first and foremost 重复,去了first即可thing for a official is to take the responsibility of what the leadership endow him/her to make the profits or merit for the people entitle entitle的主语是?这里有语病吧him/her.

Finding a public official maintaining the highest ethical and moral standard means find no man to take the duty of public servants.why? For example, Bill Clinton's sexual scandal in White House undoubtedly betrayed the ethical and moral standards. Nevertheless, he was still justified effectively so as in the responsibility he took to be a president.

Admittedly, it does not follow that a public official can leave alone ethical and moral standards. Psychologically, public people are likely to expect their officials be unimpeachable in the realm of ethic and moral. This reflects the mentation to the extent that the public masses expect their leader own higher ethical and moral standard than them. For one thing, the mass might doubt the capability of a public official to be a leader when he/she obviates ethical and moral standards despite of 有despite of的用法么?which is not involved in public service.

Nevertheless, to make his/her leadership effectively conducted, a public official should not run country to the ethical and moral standards最后一句和题目扣的不紧,而且读着有些别扭

其实我讲了的:“take the responsibility of what the leadership endow him/her to make the profits or merit for the people entitle entitle的主语是?

The first and foremost 重复,去了first即可thing
这里有问题,换个adj, first and foremost是adv

有despite of的用法么? despite of介词提到从句which前,可以吧?

A public official owning the highest ethical and moral standards in his stand accomplish nothing to do with his/her effective leadership in itself.

in spite of / despite
没有despite of,韦氏字典里可以查到in despite of 意思与in spite of 一样
Nothing is important but love.
