Facts are stubborn things. They cannot be altered by our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions.
------正文------
The speaker asserts that facts are stubborn things which cannot be altered by our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions. The statement seems ostensibly reasonable at the first glance, but in the final analysis I find it to some extent indefensible in that although history is stubborn, we can change the future through our hard and diligent work.
Admittedly, history is stubborn and can not be altered or changed by our emotions and feelings, inclinations and wishes. It is futile to put much attention to alter fact especially history. However disgusting and irksome it may be, history is just history and no one has the power to rewrite it in that it has happened before us in real. There is no better example than Kafka, who is a famous ironist good at writing short story such as lampoon. He died at an early age because of disease. We all feel sorry for him in that if not for his death, he would have written more short stories, all of which should be excellent works according to their enormous connotations contained in them. But we still can not change the fact even if we hope so.
However, we have the capability to change the facts in front of us. Through diligence and sedulity, we can have all the adverse conditions changed. There is an old saying in China that no difficulty would ever exist in the world if you have your heart on it which also express the same idea. Take Shakespeare for example. He is just a groom for gentlemen and due to this reason he has got chances to enter opera houses in which bring up his interests of wring operas. Hardly could anyone to imagine that he would become the most famous person in the field of writing in the very inception. But ironically he do make it. Although his success to some extent includes some fortune in that an unpredictable plague which broke out in British has facilitate his becoming of a great playwright, it is his talent in writing that primarily help him.
I concede that people has limited ability to change future. But whether or no, it really worth of a try. I remember there is an famous saying in the movie forest gump, (and I paraphrase): life is like a box of chocolate, you would never know what you gonna get. However the future may be, a try would make success closer and we would never feel regret even if we fail to attain our goal.
To sum up, history is stubborn and can not be changed against people’s willing. But future is more important that history and it really worth of a try to change the fact in front us, and we could feel comfortable from both an mental an physical way regardless of the final results.

Admittedly, history is stubborn and can not be altered or changed by our emotions and feelings, inclinations and wishes. It is futile to put(pay) much attention to alter fact especially history. However disgusting and irksome(我查了词霸,两个词的意思很接近呀,为什么放一起) it may be, history is just history and no one has the power to rewrite it in that it has happened before us in real. There is no better example than Kafka, who is a famous ironist good at writing short story such as lampoon. He died at an early age because of disease. We all feel sorry for him in that if not for his death, he would have written more short stories, all of which(太绝对了吧,无法保证他的创作都是精品) should be excellent works according to their enormous connotations contained in them. But we still can not change the fact even if we hope so.
However, we have the capability to change the facts in front of us. Through diligence and sedulity(两个都是勤奋的意思,跟前面的disgusting and irksome一样,我还是不太明白为什么要这样写), we can have all the adverse conditions changed(we can change all the adverse conditions). There is an old saying in China that no difficulty would ever exist in the world if you have your heart on it which also express the same idea. Take Shakespeare for example. He is(was) just a groom for gentlemen and due to this reason he has(had) got chances to enter opera houses in which bring up his interests of wring operas. Hardly could anyone to imagine that he would become the most famous person in the field of writing in the very inception. But ironically he do(did) make it. Although his success to some extent includes some fortune in that an unpredictable plague which broke out in British has(had) facilitate his becoming of a great playwright, it is his talent in writing that primarily help him. [Shakespeare这一小节在时态上有严重错误,要注意呀]
(Furthermore),I concede that people has limited ability to change future. But whether or no(not), it really worth of a try. I remember there is an famous saying in the movie forest gump, (and I paraphrase): life is like a box of chocolate, you would never know what you gonna get. However(No matter what ) the future may be, a try would make success closer and we would never feel regret even if we fail to attain our goal.
To sum up, history is stubborn and can not be changed against people’s willing. But future is more important that(than) history and it really worth of a try to change the fact in front us, and we could feel comfortable from both an mental an physical way regardless of the final results.
我觉的题目是讲事实是不可改变的,你从历史和未来这个角度写,我觉的不是很切题,在听听大家的意见吧,
