One often hears about the need for individuals to take responsibility for their own lives. However, the conditions in which people find themselves have been largely established long before people become aware of them. Thus, the concept of personal responsibility is much more complicated and unrealistic than is often assumed.

The speaker asserts that we are not responsible for our own life because the conditions in which we find ourselves have been largely established. I fundamentally
disagree with the statement largely due to our abilities to establish and change the conditions surrounding us.
   
In my point of view, we must take responsibility for ourselves. On the personal level, children should study hard to receive science and Intellectual knowledge in order to fulfill the need of the future society, employee should work hard to achieve the life goal, and scientists should research further to address the problems to push the progress of the human. All above are the responsibilities that are taken for themselves. On the contrary, consider the circumstance that we are not responsible for ourselves, for example, we don't work, study, and need no researchment, we can not live our lives due to the lack of food, clothes and other things vital to our lives.
On the social level ,it is very important for  the individuals to be responsible for themselves. for example, we don't work ,study, and need no researchment, the how society will paradise.

I concede that we can not change some living conditions surrounding us such as war or peace,  live or die ,and young or old which are inherent nature to ourselves.  For example , some girls  are beautiful inborn while some one are not. It seems unfired to some people ,and we must accept them peacefully. However, in some  circumstance, we can change our living conditions through our endeavors .What the most  inspired examples is about Lincoln, the most famous figure in American history, who are from a poor guy of a farmer to great US president. He changed not onle his life but also the American history through his hard studying and working. So not all the  living conditions are stetted before people find them, some of which  people can change by their struggling for their lives.
      On the other hand ,the creative abilities is a part of our human nature, that is ,human's creativity is the marriage of cognitive ability and research ability. When people in poor conditions will naturally seek the way to solve the problems. Consider the inventions such as plane, train, computer, etc., people try their best to improve or "change" their own lives as a patr of human nature.
       In sum, because the living conditions are complicated so that the meaning of personal responsibility is more complicated .However ,in some circumstance people can estalish or change part of their living environment by some means. So people should and must take some responsibility for themselves.
