Do many people know how to attain success but few know how to make the best use of it, as the speaker claims? As far as I am concerned, I quite agree with this assertion.

First of all, after people achieved succeses they usually cannot sustain them for different reasons. In Chinese history, many farmers’ revolutions succeeded and these farmers erected their own countries, such as the Ming Dynasty. However, after success the governors of these countries did not devote themselves to construction their countries, on the country, most of them began to seize the power and they fighted with each other. Finally, they lose their countries.

Secondly, most people don not know how to use the successes they have gained to achieve next ones.  Success is just one process not the final target, but few understand this. Once they make a success, they will stop there until they use up all the things they have got from their achieved success. We have saw some businessmen who made a lot money from one deal but they do not know use the money and experience which gained from this deal to gain more money. They use the money they got to buy cars, houses, etc. Until they become poor again they come to realize how stupid they are, but it is too late.

Thirdly, people often lose themselves when they facing the success. Take two famous athletes in China for example. Tian Liang and Liu Xiang are two famous athletes who have achieved great successes but their attitude towards their successes are quite different. The former lose himself and forget he is an athlete not a businessman, so he took part into many business things despite the warning from others. Finally, due to his unfit behaviors he was kicked out from the national team. The latter don not lose himself and always remember he is an athlete and he uses most of time to practice rather than join kinds of activities. He is praised by Chinese people, because he know who is he , what he should do and how to keep peaceful attitude towards the success he has gained.

In summary, most people will lose themselves when they facing success and they do not know how to sustain the success they have gained and how to use these successes to achieve next ones. Therefore, although many people know how to attain success, few know how to make the best use of it.

However, after success the governors of these countries did not devote themselves to construction their countries, on the country【contrary】, most of them began to seize the power and they fighted【fought】 with each other. Finally, they lose their countries. 【说的现象太表面化了，而且例子我觉得不是太好，应该说取得明朝天下的success的人朱元璋和亡国的人崇祯不是一个人，所以，这个不存在对比。另外，从思路上来看，题目论述的重点是，是否能够最好的利用成功，而不是如何sustain，如果你要说sustain的问题，应该在sustian和make best use之间建立联系。】
