People need a peaceful society to live in. Without stability, a society can not develop, and even ends up with wars. But crimes exist any corner where people make activities. So the stability of a society depends on how it responds to the extremes of human behavior.

A society consists of persons. Personal activities help a community to function. Most of activities contribute to accelerate a society's development, but there are always a few, such as crimes, making a society to be unstable. People form a rational principle since they grow up, and most time they can obey it. But, as we all experience, emotions are hard to control sometimes, what is worse, when a person is out of his mind, he probably ignores the subsistent human principle and may do some extremes which outreach a social moral criterion or break a law. Like, a drunk person is more likely to begin a fight even kill when someone displeases him or a person in grief may hurt or murder others whom he hates. This kind of behavior badly endangers the stability of a society.

For dealing with and control people's extreme behaviors, especially some behaviors which severely damage a society's stability, a community should take strong measures against them. As we know, human beings desire security and want to be protected in order to insure our daily live can operate normally. Offering a stable environment for citizens to live and work is a society's responsibility. Extremes conducts like crimes are harmful to innocent people and the whole society. Only the extremes of human behaviors are wildly restrained and efficiently controlled, the stability of a society will be improved.

In social aspect, a society should perfect its social laws and establish supervisory means to control the extremes of human behavior. Laws discipline people's behaviors which just not only prevent the extremes from happening, but also punish the people who commit crimes. We also need some relative departments like police stations and jails to make sure that laws can function very well. We can take the end of 70's China as an example. At that time, Chinese people lost two respectable leaders, and the whole society was in deep grief. Depression overwhelmed people's emotions, thus, chaos soon spread everywhere and misdeeds happened continually. None of overseas enterprise liked to put its investment to China. Then many kind of laws were made by Chinese government for handling this precarious situation. A few years later, the crime rate declined and China returned a stable country again. Its economy develops fast since that and more and more overseas enterprises prefer to invest in China.

In our aspects, we need to learn how to let our heads control our hearts. Human have emotions, but emotional impulsion do hurt at times. Although we do not, in fact, really mean to hurt others, saying nothing of damaging our society, our emotions may lead our conducts to extremes. Therefore, be rational all the time is very essential to us and we must learn more about laws which can help us to know how badly the results of our extreme behaviors are.

In conclusion, the stability of a society depends on how it responds to the extremes of human behavior. Only when the extremes of human behaviors are well controlled, a society can progress and provide its citizens a comfortable circumstance to live.
