The advanced technology nowadays is the result of numerous human's intelligence and diligence through thousands of years. Technology has changed the way people lead their lives and impacted their perspective for the universe. Some people think that technology has created more baneful issues for humans than they its benefits. In my point of view, technology is of great importance for the prosperity of human and it will continually leads the future of this planet.

First of all, technology has brought great efficiency and convenience to humans. With the development of technology, people are incessantly changing the way they work and live. The bulb, invented by Edison, has brought human light at night. With development of electronics, various of bulbs are invented which has various usages besides illumination, such as decoration, medical operation, research, etc; The development of vehicle has saved people a lot of time consumed on the trip. For instance, if a person travels from London to New York by ship, it may take him/her several days, while only several hours are needed if he/she take the plane; The development of tools for communicating, telephone, fax, internet have brought people huge convenience. Before these were invented, if one intends to deliver some information to others, he/she will have to write a letter or leave a message to somebody else. The important information may become of no sense due to the time wasted on the road. On the contrary, using the modern technology can pass the information immediately.

Second, technology help humans better understand the world. With the scientific technology, people have disclosed numerous truths about the earth and the universe which are considered cryptic before. For instance, there are drastic controversies on many issues about the universe: Is the external shape of the earth round or flat? Is the earth rotating around the sun or the sun rotating the earth? A number of theories concerning about these problems have emerged from time to time. Eventually, when the space shuttle Apollo landed on the surface of the moon in the middle of last century, the real truth about these controversies is obvious to all the humans.

Admittedly, the abuse of technology has brought underlying menace to the society. Take the rapid development of network technology for an instance. In modern society, the number of netizens, people whose life and work are tidily connected with the internet, is growing in a striking speed. Among these people, the youth has taken a large proportion. We can often hear of the news that some junior school student becomes uninterested in study for the sake of being indulgent in the internet or computer games. In this situation, family and school should give the children more restrictions and guidance on using the computer.

In conclusion, technology is indispensable for human beings; without these scientific technologies, we still stay in darkness at night, live on plain or in caves, hunt animals for living, go everywhere just by foot. Thus, the development of technology is a perpetual undertaking for the human beings and we should pay more attention to it in the future. In this way and only in this way, our world will become more prosperous and our lives will be more convenient and efficient.
