In the course of human events, the wheel of art turns with the accelerating velocity in accordance to the development of societies as a whole. The aim of art is obliged to fulfill the desire of the spiritual need and appreciation. Embedded in every day’s life and existing in unconsciousness, it is difficult to define and quantify or tends to be at least pervasive and elusive. Perhaps few issues cause so much concern and widespread public debates as does the issue whether the art reveal the hidden ideas and impulse of a society. On my basis of my personal experience and expertise, hardly can it be articulated and illuminated without complex analysis and comprehensive evaluation.

Without a doubt, the art, especially the creation of paintings, are able to predict the future life in the next decades. It is universally acknowledged that what people most expected can be realized through the creation of arts. Because in the real world, limited by the natural resources and technology, individuals fail to achieve every dream in the mundane world. Therefore, as a sort of satisfying this desire, the only way is to express their ideas and thoughts through arts. The discovery of robot is able to serve as a convincing example to shed light on this point. As we know, the prototype of robot firstly appeared in some fictions. At that time, people dreamed of one day when people may employ the robot to accomplish some dangerous projects that are vital to human. After few decades, the artist's dream came true. The achievement in the domain of science makes the robots that only existed in people's illusion in the past time available. From this point of few, Should we deny the fact that the arts are able to predict the future world? Nay!
Furthermore, The arts are instrument of human inner heart feelings and expression just as a vessel laden of merchandises. On account of the various forms of arts, artists would make their feelings to the society and surroundings ingrained into these creations. Vincent Van Gogh functions as a telling example, there is no denying that from masterpiece of Van Gogh, such as The Potato Eater, Starry Night and Heliotrope, which give rise to a negative desperation and somber feeling to the viewer and want them to know his unfortunate experiences in the society. On the other side, when people appreciate the works by Da Vinci, his paintings will inevitably bring about a scientific spirit and philosophic thought. Therefore, the arts, which have been developed with the enhancement of civilization, were considered to be a way of expressing the artist's feeling and thoughts in the world.

In addition, from the presentation of the arts, especially the literatures, people will be acquainted with the society and circumstance that the artists lived in. That is to say, the literatures often reflect the merits as well as drawbacks that existed in the society. A good example in case is Chekhov, the preeminent and outstanding novel writer in Soviet Union. In his literatures, we might realize the unsympathetic relationship between individuals, even the relatives. Besides, it also uncovered the fact that people in that time were imbued with the notion that the materialism and capitalism are the priority of the world. Few literatures have characterized the past decades more than those by Shakespeare, who created a lot of tragic dramas, such as Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, which reflect the tragedies that existed in that society and times. Thus, it is the arts that uncover and illuminate the real facts and truths that prevailed in different times.

In conclusion, it is sensible to maintain that the arts reveal the hidden ideas and impulse of a society. Needless to say, a colossal number of empirical evidence that mentioned above has convinced that point. Therefore, the significance of the creation of arts ought to not be neglected because the arts, just as the air, exist in every place in the world.
