The first overwhelming merit of the video camera over the written methods lie in the fact that not everyone can read books but they all can understand the video. A baby can get in touch with many cultures from TVs which is not possible by reading books until he is old enough to learn how to read. Or it is possible to record baby’s motions or actions through videos even he has not learn to write. And people from two countries with different languages might have difficulties in reading each other's books, however, it doesn't prohibit them to watch a ceremony using the
video records. In this case, video records are more popular than the traditional writings, acting as a bridge over the gap of language difficulties.

Moreover, a video record contains much more information so that a film can make a more impressive compression than written fictions, which might be the ground of a better documentation method of the entertainment by conveying more details and impressions. Everyone familiar with computer will know that to record a film requires thousands of times of data as the requirement of a fiction. Since the video documentation contains so much information, it is no surprise that watching a film is more impressive.
