As a threshold matter,the speaker claims that technological advancement should serve to increase people's efficiency,in which way could everyone's leisure time be more plentiful.In modern era,speedy developed technology definitely creats many singificant achievements and altered people's daily lives,but will it be the responsibility for technological advancement to improve the efficiency and favor people to spare more leisure time?From where I stand,it is arbitrary to claim so since more abundant meanings lie in the technology progresses.

It is true that technological progresses curtail a lot of working time and economize  useful time for workers and employees to do more important businesses.With the swiftly developed technology,people could put fewer finance,time and working force but receive more considerable consequences.On account of the decreasing of cost,profits will increase marvellously,which will be benefit for both the markets and investments,finally make sure the social wealth of materials.Moreover,the flourishing condition will create a positive cycle which will ultimately favor the social members.They could enjoy consumptions of terrific qualities and enjoy more leisure time.

Further,the technological advancements not only merely increase people's efficiency,it also bring other outstanding benefits to human beings.For example,the digital camera replaces the indistinctive characters of old fashioned camera and bring a more vividly view of the world to people.Take an simply advancement for example,the invention and updating of automobile take more convenience to human beings.Further more,the reforming of medical science make sure the long lifespan of  people.Countless arguments could be raised here to support that technological advancement's benefits are not confined to the efficiency.

However,everyone's leisure time couldn't be regarded as the outcoming of technology improvements.That is,the characters of human beings are various and many prefer to working arduously when they are young while enjoy leisure time during their old years,they perhaps won't be influenced by the technology development and persist in their old ways.In contrast,some other people would love to enjoy every minute no matter how serious his work is.The living conditions of different areas also decide leisure time of people,for example,people living in small towns enjoy more leisure time than those who live in metropolitans.

Moreover,probably the technological advancements deprived people's leisure time in some meanings instead of endowing.It is believed that with more high-speedy technology equipment and connection manners,people ought to learn more knowledge of modern information,for instance,the internet.Since then,the working load will aggravated imperceptibly.As a result,leisure time have no certain connection with technology advancements.

In sum,we couldn't place the improvement of effiency as the primary goal on the technology advancements.Leisure time have more plentiful meanings which are not depend on technology but human beings' own characters,wishes,living conditions and so on.
