天津外院考场：电话答题机经
先说说感想：

TSE是最不人道的口语考试，连个面试考官都没有，不到20分钟，就1000多人民币。劝大家不到非不得已不要去考。
最需要注意的就是，每次回答问题前，过了几秒钟，才出来一个声音说，“you can speak now”然后又过1秒才哔一声开始录音，掌握不好节奏的话很容易影响心情。ETS也不替考生考虑一下，
想想看，在你的神经高度紧张的时候，一个人问你一个问题，你马上准备回答，刚开口说，他突然打断你又说一句，“好，现在开始回答。”然后吹一声口哨。那个时候你的思维被打乱，影响心情。
说了这么多废话，为的是引起大家注意，别像我一样，TSE考砸了才醒悟。耽误时间浪费钱啊。爸，妈，我对不起你们的血汗钱啊~

（1）看图说话
1．一个男人看记事本“12:00 meeting at diamond hotel”
2．男人在diamond hotel门前，看见hotel门前立着牌子“closed for repair”
3．男人与一对男女在hotel门口握手
4.女人建议去hotel旁边的coffee shop
5．三个人端着咖啡和食物（疑似汉堡）
6．三人围着一个小圆桌讨论问题，桌上摆着咖啡和很多张纸（我说那是business report）

(2) topic
1.If you can take four weeks away from your work or studies, what would you do in you vacation.
2. which time of the year do you like best? Why?

question: some people prefer to live in big cities, while others prefer to live in suburban areas, which do you prefer?why?

Language Fuctions
Your are the manager of the customer-severvice department of an Internet web site.一个顾客Allen Meat打电话来抱怨，我在你们网上订购了一台Camera, 4月10日定的，5月10日还没收到，我的信用卡显示这笔钱已经被划走了，你们网站说4到8天就可以收到，我都一个月了还收不到，发了好几封邮件也没人回，打电话也没有一个actual person 接电话。你们怎么是做生意的？！Mr.Meat很生气，后果很严重。请回复：
1．        告诉他你已经recognize this problem了
2．        解释并提出解决办法

Flow chart:
两个女人在讨论公司（学校）要搬到new building去了，又一大堆书要move to the new library.向你的在度假的老板汇报the progress of the move。
Step 1 inventory of the books(done)

Step 3 pack books (not done, expected to finish tomorrow)

（可能用词不太准确，不过总的来说就是这些步骤）

给他：
1.通知他，Mr Tompson的retirement party
2.告诉他你对Mr Tompson的退休有什么感想。
3.告诉他你认为公司该怎么找人fill his position.

Dear Donia,

I am sorry to hear that you had problem with the dilivery method of TSE questions. I am sure that many people have it too. Here is the link in which there is one complete set of TSE questions it was given the way exactly same as the real TSE. I encourage you to go over it before you take the TSE if you want to take it next time.  Hope it helps.

After reading a few posts about the questions, I can tell that your english is very good. You interperate the meaning of questions very well. You should be able to make it if you perform well in the test.

When ETS give questions, they sometimes trick you by saying lots of things before the real, short question coming out. For example, the second question of this set TSE, it was as "many people like to do several things at once, such as reading while eating. others like to do one thing at a time.(it might be even longer here in real question I think) What do you think about the advantages and disadvantages of doing several things at once?". Please be careful here, many people interperate the question as "what is you opinion about doing several things at once?" or "What do you think about doing several things at once?". However the real question is the last sentence "What is the advantages and disadvantages of doing several things at once?". It is not a opinion question. Therefore, you don't need to have any conclusion while you answer the question. You just need to tell the ad/disad directly. Here is the possible answer:

"One of the advantages of doing several things at once is that you can finish more work quickly. In adition, you can impress your coworkers by doing several things at once. However, a disadvantage of doing several things at once is that it is much easier for us to become distracted while we are doing several things at once. we can make lots of mistakes while we get distracted. Another disadvantage of doing several things at once is that we can get ourselves exhausted while we are trying to handle too many things at once. It is not a healthy way to work. From the long term view of point, your working efficiency will be lowered eventually." -------Please note, you don't have any conclusion here as what you usually do for opinion questions.
