If you fail to pass LPI (Level5) by the time they request, you will be blocked for registeration for 1 year until you passed lpi.
However, during that year, you will still be considered as UBC student. But, according to UBC, if a student DO NOT register any courses for 1 year, then the student will no longer be considered as enroled in UBC. Thus, after one year and you want to go back to UBC, you will have to apply for re-admition, and re-admitioin is not equal to kick out then re-apply.
academic probation will result "kick out" if you do not show your academic progress during the period of Probation.
Thanks for you guys. But for Arts one, you should get a level 5 on LPI so that you can register for that. Otherwise, you should choose courses according to yourself, is that right?

You know, UBC's motto, Tuum Est, means 'It's up to you'~
but do remember the requirement of your faculty when choosing your courses. U better off contacting your advisor

选课6月就开始了,但是我们国际学生要到9月份才能参加LPI的考试,那么我在选课的时候,怎么知道我是否能达到level 5呢?那我要怎么选课呢(比如那些first year english)?还是我可以先报,如果没有过再取消呢?
