Sweden has the smallest difference between the sexes, followed by Norway, Iceland, Denmark and Finland, according to the World Economic Forum. In Asia, China was the highest-rated country at number 33----scoring well on economic participation, but badly on education and political empowerment. In your views, is there any room for improvement in narrowing gender gap in China?

For some reason we do need to improve the status of women, but meanwhile, it doesn't necessarily mean feminism should be encouraged, coz it's a totally different attitude towards the weaker sex. It is different in that it goes to the other extreme of this problem, which definitely leads to the lack of objectivity.

How do you know feminism goes to the other extreme? Have you learnt any feminist theories or have you seen any feminist practice? Make your argument less flimsy then, my friend.

Well, I'm not a feminist of course :D

I've just met someone who "claimed" to be feminism advocants and whom I don't feel easy to get along with.

Agreed with Joey, Ladygrey seems to be an expert on this issue, prob u could lecture a little bit.

Feminism itself is highly contested, I would even suggest that your 'feminist' friend have a good knowledge of feminism before he or she started embarking on the feminist path.
