Foreword

Taking GRE was never what immediately came to my mind when,one day in February,2004,I happily learned that I had scored quite well in CET6 of Dec 03.For,after all,one good performance doesn't promise another for sure in the days to come,and, it is the mark of a wise man to know how much is still out of reach and yet to be learned.It was not until about one month later,March of 2004,that I decided to get myself a GRE glossary.And you cannot just conclude that pride,one of the Seven Sins,finally won me over and that I,by then, had made my mind to be a G-taker---Nope,---it was because that I often heard people say how weird and difficult the G-words are as is the exam itself;it was the curiosity to "just find out" that urged me to pay for such a book as that without much hesitation.
Yet the book was not the well known "Red Bible" prevalent these days,instead,it was a quite ordinary one by a less famed publisher.That very sunday night I started to look into it.And for a couple of days I just ran lots of pages,from the very beginning word, ABANDON,to such an unfamiliar terminology,DEHYDRATION...
Although it was not my routine but I would take it along when there wasn't so much academic stuff---thus not so many voluminous textbooks,turn to the page where I last made a mark,and devour those COOL words as they slowly assembled in my head to be part of my memory.
The book was dilapidated and I would have kept those dogeared but lovely pages if I hadn't been so careless as to have left it in the classroom when I was gone.Yes,lost it for good...and by then,I still can remember,I was dealing with initial P-words,just kind of midway.I realized that despite that my numerous good times were gone with the book and never would come back to me,I by no means should stop in the middle of nowhere.I maybe was never going to take the G,but I had my unsworn yet holy oath,the responsibility to myself.Nope,I just couldn't stop there.And that was why on the 1st of November,I got myself a brandnew RED BIBLE,writing in the first page of it,REVIVAL ON HALLOWMAS. Day One,I was restarting from where I departed.
I am very glad to tell you that "Reddy" is still in my bag,and part of my life it is,after I have gone through it twice by now.I decided last month that maybe I had better take a try and become a real G-fighter.And now I am one of the big family.
I am not sure about how long I will run my story,but I do enjoy every second I have spent and will spend,and every little sparkle of idea I share with every one of us.This is one of my happiest moments of my life,I do believe...
