6月16日，今天是个好日子，男朋友昨天就签过啦，我也有种预感我肯定能过得的，如果万一不过我也准备了一大堆话要和签证官理论啦，至少为二千做好铺垫。不说废话了，直奔主题吧，签我的是一位金发布戴眼镜的绅士，看上去大概40岁以内，人很有礼貌而且问的问题也不刁钻：
Me:good morning sir!
V:xxxxx
Me:excuse me?
V:(smile)how are you
M: (smile)oh!how are you!thanks!
V:xxxxx
M:I’m study in USST
V(shaking head):no, I mean what r u going to study in US
M:oh! EE! Bcoz I want to be a leading environmental engineer in China
V(listening carefully): so u r studing in usst, whats ur major there?
M EE too
V have u got the degree?
Mnot yet
V when
Mxxxx
V(nodding):but the expense is too high in USC(pointing to the I -20),it’s 35,000 per year
M(pretending very clam):actually the tuition is only 20,000dollars, and wherever I go to study I have to pay the money,but not everywhere could provide the best education to me like USC
V(hesitantly looking the form):who will support u?
M my father and my mother(a bit nervous), they have sufficient deposit to support me
V but,  ()
M:would u like to have a look at my bank statement       
V(nodding and see):but why they are current?
M:these accounts are only set up for my study, My father is a shareholder of Beijing yulong airconditioner factory,their annual product value is about 4-5million and …., he also did many investment on real estate like renting house [and business shop,do u want to see the 房产证？房证？(showing to him the certification while talking in front of the window)
V（nodding）这个我知道！
M(give the certification and other invoices to him)
V（低头checking)
M besides, my father is also an antique collector; this is one of his collection (pointing to my necklace)
V(抬头看，笑，低头看)
M:强调了南加的工程排名，and usc engineers are taught to be leaders not only practitioners I ,think its worthy
V（把材料还我）so u will study it for 2 years
M(smile)within 2 years
V: what will u do after graduation        ?
M I’ll go back to Shanghai, because China now is facing with sever environmental pollution, so the highly qualified engineers are badly needed.And governments pay a lot attention on it and shanghai have started many environmental projects, but there are great gaps of highly qualified professionals in this area for my major is only set up within 10 years in China,so I believe I will be a leading professionals when I come back!
V(though it’s a long speech he listened very carefully)do u have any sister or brother?
M:no I’m single
V:ok the interview is over
M(smile)so I’ll go to window 12?
V(laughing)yeh!

其实感觉上他主动问我的东西并不多，大多数时间都是在低头看材料，而我就趁他不说话的时候赶紧见缝插针，先介绍爸爸公司的情况，后来又介绍中国的现状，以及我回来的目的，我并没强调回来挣钱的问题，而是强调回来我不但是急需的人才而且肯定高水平的专家。当时我觉得在我说完我家里的财政和我回来的前景的时候，他的签证是铁定会给我了，而他后来问我是否有兄妹时我就very sure了！

签证时一定要注意有礼貌，开始时的问好是必不可少的，绝对不能忘记，这会给他带来好印象，还有叫号的时候尽量不要迟到，我看到两个迟到几分钟的都是两分钟之内就被拒了，虽然会有其他原因，但是肯定当签证官还没见到你就先给你了一个负评价，所以扫描手纹后要专心看电子公告板。

最后就是今年签证形势非常好，主要是中美关系好，所以只要你的财力能支持你上学基本上没什么问题，那些以前被拒的同学也不要灰心，二千肯定能过得。但是个人形象以及言谈举止一定要注意得体，着装大方。

忘记提醒了，安检出来的时候一定记得把摘下来的手表或其他东西要回来，因为人太多了，一不小心就会弄丢的！

呵呵，谢谢斑竹，不过我还是很感激那天的签证官能让我把那么长的话说完，感觉碰到那么nice的人真的挺幸运的。

不过在这里提醒一下自费的签友，我和多位自费签过得同学交流后觉得：现在签证官最关心的就是你家里财产的情况，所以这部分一定准备好，能出示的证明越多越好；但是也不要一股脑的全给他，这样反而会因其反感，而是把握住适当的时机，尽量让你来控制签证官的思路，大头的钱先出示，小笔的收入放在后面，根据签证官的反应来判断接下来该怎样解释或是拿什么证明。提醒：大额的人寿保险或是车保等也可作为财力辅助证明
