TSE可以单考的，就在每次TOEFL笔试那天下午滴~~

tse据说很难考高，难度很大。并且和托福差不多贵。有考过的经验么？成绩也是两个月出么？
看了搂主的中文版（英文看着一大片很晕），清楚多了，一直觉得这个事情很是麻烦，所依考完8t，到现在还没有开始管申请的一系列事情。
再请问一个问题，帖子前面提到的那些协会提供资助的可能性大么，好像一直听到的都是全奖，TA,RA。

fellowship一般是学校或者系里决定的~
RA基本就是教授给了~
TA系里教授都有可能给~

But the first thing is that you could get the AD first, you know it is decided by the whole committe, not only one single prof.
If that has no problem, then, if some prof says like I will provide you RA (working in his or her lab), that will great~

To simplify for those who do not want to read the whole story about financial aid:

for chinese student, there could be three kinds of aids:
(1) Fellowship: hard to get, you will get a big amount of money, but do not need to do any work, neither teaching or researching~
(2) TA: it is decided by the Dept, they will consider native student and PhD candidate first. and usually, you need to help with the graduate students to do their lab, help prof to grade the homework. And will get pay every month.
(3) RA: it is decided by single prof, he or she need some student working in the researching lab. and this is also some kinda working, you will get pay every month.
AND, along with any of above, there always comes tuition wave.

What is half scholarship and full scholarship?
according to the amount of moeny.
that's it.
so simple.
if the money you get every year is around $18,000-30,000, which could cover all the fees and will support you, that is called FULL scholarship.
if the money only could support half of your living, like $7,000-10,000, that's half~~
We also could hear some thing like 1/4 or 3/4 scholarship, that is similar to what I said above. Just define it by the amount of money~
BTW: it is chinese way to decribe fanancial aids~

To apply for them:
some uinv provide form, some don't. if not, you could just mention it in your application.
