两年前去过贵校，被法国梧桐迷得晕菜。。

Tim Burton’s magic world

It’s 3 o’clock in the morning.
I had waited for the whole quiet evening,
With one question in my mind
That I longed for an answer for a long time.

Suddenly my phone began to ring;
I could hear my beating heart sing.
The big time for me had come.
I’d waited for a long time.

“Please come with me.”
I found the voice confusing,
So I said,
“Who are you?” to the stranger calling.
Then I heard my wooden door knocked
With a hasty old voice speaking,
“Tim Burton wants to meet you.”
“Tim Burton wants to meet you.”

When the door’s opened,
A freak rabbit stood,
Quite fully dressed,
Just the Tim Burton Style.
I nodded and said,
“ Shall we depart tonight?”
The gentle rabbit replied,
“Be swift, be swift!”

I locked the wooden door behind,
In the blue-checked pajamas my favorite.
So noisy the night became,
Just like a party at night.
The moon licking mountains,
Kept asking questions,
“Tim Burton wants to meet you?”
“Tim Burton wants to meet you?”

Following the freak rabbit
In a cute red suit,
I arrived at a snowy hilltop
Overlooking a silver lake.
The stars bathed gaily inside,
Startled I was to silence,
By the scenery appeared.


Out of the blue,
The rabbit vanished in dark shadows,
Leaving a glowing road in front
To the forest deep and bleak.

I collected myself for a while,
Resolved to take the road,
Which zigzagged ahead.

At the end of the road,
A man with dark grassy hair greeted,
Lifting his scissor hands, pretty shining and cold.
“I am Tim Burton waiting,
And you must be Eddie Witty.”
I had nothing to say nodding,
And a simple smile offered.
He led me to his humid Gothic Castle
In crystal snow flakes soothing,
Telling me his story about a girl named Kim,
Who once was his true love.
Among the ice statues circling,
I found one that was special.
And I knew it was Kim,
Who told the same story to her granddaughter.

I hesitated and asked,
“What is love?”
Heaving a sigh,
And looking afar,
His eyes kindled
With soft moonlight floating.
“A robot and a girl;
Love is my scissor hands,
That carved these lovely ice creatures.
Love is these lovely ice creatures,
That are strong and fragile.”

Out of the blue,
He vanished in white shadows,
With pure and clean snow flakes,
And his humid dark castle.

I continued my journey
Deep into the forest.
There were curly fur trees
And weird giant willows.
I could see the stars twinkle,
And the orange moon asked,
“Tim Burton wants to meet you?”
“Tim Burton wants to meet you?”

An olive pond approached into my sight,
A beautiful big fish inside,
I could feel the warmth nearby
In Tim Burton’s dark bleak forest.
A bear-footed man appeared
Wearing his eternal sunshine smile,
“I am Tim Burton waiting,
And you must be Eddie Witty.”
I had nothing to say nodding,
And a simple smile offered.
He pointed to the big fish swimming,
Telling me the story about his father,
Who caught the big fish once.

I hesitated, and asked,
“What is love?”
He paused and replied,
“Love is the big fish,
A fairy tale in reality you ought to believe.
Love is SPECTER,
A place a man sees differently at different times
That you ought to save.”

Out of the blue,
He vanished in green shadows,
With the pond the big fish dwelt in.

Forest was gone in a golden fog,
With Beatle Juice’s giggling wild.
Suddenly, I found myself on the way home
Facing east to the sun and breeze,
On this magical morning of Feb 30th.
