我觉得 By the end of the 1950"s 后面应当用过去完成式，而本题用的是过去式，所以改成 at the end of the 1950"s 比较好，但答案认为equivalence错了。
听力13.  
(A) He is too busy to come to the picnic.
      (B) The weather on Sunday will not be good enough for a picnic.
      (C) The woman should not change the date of the picnic.
      (D) The woman should invite more people to the picnic.
本题答案选B，不知道the guest's list and calendar out.是啥意思？

是技巧，但是ETS是规定了我们不能跨区，不能提前看作文的，中国人都这么作，也就无所谓了，以前不是版主的时候，我也把这些东西挂到口上讲，现在是版主了，才知道论坛里还是少说的好，毕竟和官方政策不符

答案当然对了，副词后面加名词，没有省略什么东西，那么就错了

就是把客人的名单和日程拿出来，就是一一通知他们取消了

by the end of, since这种东西似乎不是toefl语法的考点,很多情况下接过去式都是对的.
p.s. in what在什么情况下是对的呀?what在句子里面都能作为什么成分呀

in what =in +n. +that+从句
