In the first place, education which inspires students to question and criticize serves to benefit the progress of the society. Without criticism, human can not find his faults because we, human, often be blind with our own errors, which is the nature of ourselves. Through the way of questioning and criticizing, we can find much more room to make a progress. Consider the famous scientist Galileo, who once climbed the Leaning Tower of Pisa and dropped various weights from the top, results of his many experiments revealed eminent law of free fall. Imaging everyone just accept the authority without any doubt, could the world became much more democratic and make so innumerous developments of the scientific technology? In short, encouraging students to question and criticize plays a crucial role to serve the advancement of the society.

Further more, education which not only inspires students to inquiry and evaluate the problem, but also provides students core values such as tolerance and cooperation, promote social harmony. Tolerance makes people become compatible with others who maybe differ from you or his point of view opposing to yours. With educated with this core value, one will think from others' stand, a most importing basic to cooperate with different people. By way of tolerance and cooperation, the conflicts among people diminishes, even disappear, and the society have much more chance to become the bigger one to earn a success. Thus, education shaping people's value does great to promote social harmony.

Admittedly, it is crucial not to take the assertion about education too far. Common sense tells me that to misuse or abuse any measure will bring about severe problem. When we overstate the function of the education, which is used to foster students to question and criticize, it makes a negative effect. Our students maybe inquiry everything, every fact, which in fact does harm to the society, damaging the social harmony, totally denying the authority, disobedience to the law, taking no concern with others. The whole world will be no doubt to bog into swamp. What a terrible thing it is!

To sum up, education can serve as an important catalyst to help benefit the harmony of society by the way of foster students not simply to question and criticize, but to shape them hub value. Yet, overemphasizing criticism and question will also do harm to the society and demolish its harmony.
