In this memo, the president of the cheese stores assert that the best way to improve profits is to discontinue stocking many of the varieties of imported cheese and concentrate primarily on domestic cheese. The memo fails to demonstrate the necessity and sufficiency of the authors' recommendation, since it suffers from a lot of(four) fallacies.(恩 开头不错了)

    In the first place, the fact that the five best-selling cheeses of the last year at their newest store were all domestic cheddar cheeses lend less credible support to the assumption that the domestic cheeses are profitable in all their stores. The conditions of the last year may be not representative of the overall selling conditions. There is no guarantee such trends that the domestic cheeses sells good can continue in the future. What is more, the author fails to consider the selling condition of other stores. The information focusing on the newest stores may be not representative. Besides, even if the domestic cheeses do sell good, there is no evidence that the imported cheeses are not popular and thus unprofitable at all. It is possible that the imported cheeses have brought great profits to the stores in the删 last year, too.  (很好的一连串假设)

    In the second place, the survey cited by the author is too vague to be reliable and thus cannot properly uphold the author's assumption that the domestic cheeses are getting more and more popular. The survey may be not reliable since the 's subscribers of the magazine cannot be representative of (represent)all the people in the United States. Moreover, the increasing preference cannot (do not)necessarily indicate that more people are willing to consume domestic cheeses rather than imported ones. Even if the preference for domestic cheeses is increasing, there is no evidence that the imported cheeses are not popular at all. (跟上段重复了吗?)It is much possible that most people in the states are still used to consume imported cheeses.

the recommendation may be neither necessary nor sufficient to increase profits. The author fails to take into consideration other factors that may cause the profits. It is possible that the store of domestic cheeses will cost more, and the competition is much fiercer. The market price can also serve to the profits. Without such factors considered, it is presumptuous to make a decision.

Without such factors considered, it is presumptuous(这个次要怎么用, 请教一下,是专横的意思吗) to expect it bring much profits to concentrate merely on the domestic cheeses. Besides the author commits a hasty generalization. It is possible that people do not like domestic cheeses at all in some of the areas where some of their stores are located. So to conduct the strategy in all the stores may be of risk and uncertain to bring significant profits. Besides, the author fails to take into consideration other measures available that are likely to raise the profits.(恩  改了一下之后就清晰的多了!)

    In sum, the memo fails to be convincing. Without ruling out other possible conditions and considering other related factors, the recommendation may be not sufficient and cause some counter-productive effects.(有时间在给他一点改进的详尽一点的建议吧,总的说来很不错,本身题目就不好懂,而且是现想现写  很不错的说! 加油 你的文章很不错!)

presumptuous和其他什么unfair之类在arg里面的用法差不多吧 可能语气更重一点 就是过于独断，不合理的意思吧
