ISSUE 41 such nonmainstream areas of inquiry as astrology, fortune-telling, and psychic and paranormal pursuits play a vital role in society by satisfying human needs that are not addressed by mainstream science.

Last week, my brother-in law was dead in a traffic accident, which make our families depressed. Later, one of my intimate relative who are also a fortune-teller confort us that his death was to compensate the evil behaviors his daught and his offspring will do in the future, and his death would bring any prosperity and wealthy in the future. His remarks, even thouth is not very soundful, could be regarded as anodyne that give my older sister and his young doughter any confidence and confort. As a matter of fact, such  nonmainstream areas of inquiry as astrology, fortune-telling, and psychic and paranormal pursuits de facto play a vital role in society by satisfying human needs just as what I have remarked above.

First of all, nonmainstream areas of inquiry could satisfy human need when they are facing any things they could not solve in hand. The development and progress and science and technology have endowed us a gread deal of capability and intelligence to solve many questions and problems which is hardly to imagine before. Nevertheless, we should also notice that there still are any areas and any emergent or unfortune affairs the science and technology can not tackle right now. In this regard, facing such affaris, how can we human do or what answer we will give us? You may say that it is just self-conformt. But can you say you can live in a world without any psychological and mental comfort when you just get bogged down into anything unfortune. According to the statistics of the psychology, De facto, there are more than half of the patients, whom mental obstacles occur when the virus are gradually jerpodize their lives, even with the help of the new science and technology.

Secondly, could such areas pursuit solve all questions we human being encounter in our quotidian lives? The answer is manifest, NOT. We still need the help of the science and technology. and with the advancement of science and technology, nonmainstream inquiry as astrology, fortune-telling and psychic and paranormal pusuits are gradually out of data, or even obsolescent. Say, in my hometown, my grandfather always liked to plead for rain when facing drought , they sacrifice any young checken and pigs in the temples. Nowadays, my hometown goverment could increase the level of the precipitation, artifical rain, by sending any specific chemical materials into space which would turn any black cloud into rain. Such instances is increasingly patent in china, even in any places where nonmainstream areas is very prevailing.

In summary, from what I have been discussed above, we could concluded that, to some extent, nonmainstream areas of inquiry as astrology, fortune-telling, and psychic and paranormal pursuits certainly play a vital role in society by satisfying humen need that are not addressed by mainstream science. Nontheless, we human being would never be dependent upon such nonmanstream areas of inqury. Meanwhile we should believe that our research and exploration in science would be helpful for us to tackle all questions we will counter in the future.


提纲：我姐夫去逝，家人很悲痛，一个亲戚，fortune teller给我们一些安慰。说明，我们这个社会确实需要一些nonmainstrain inquiry.
1、需要是因为它能够在思想上和精神上给我们一些安慰。
2、科学技术的发展会削弱他的作用。

很长时间没有写了。写的时候，然后安慰不知道如何写，还有云，cloud，就是想不起来。这不是要我自杀嘛。写的比较浅，花了38分钟，后来检查也没有检查完。也不指望ISSUE能够拿高分，只希望逻辑上没有问题，观点明确就可以了吧。
