18 hours flight totally including connection time in NY edwark airport. i finallt settle in pittsburgh. it's snowing heavily when i just arrived. oh that makes me feel a little special. At the pittsburgh airport, i got embarrased several times. they always said what? sorry? after i asked them can i exchange some coins from you. you know,it's snowing bad outside. i was not going to Duquesne U since it was too late after i arrive.

i'm going to DU for my housing and some other things prior to the semester begin tommorow! i feel worry about my two heavy luggages, tell you what, i have to handle them myself.


i cant believe how many hous flight i've spent on and after a couple of hours flight i had arrived in the states smoothly.  damn, i really found my english is so poor. never mind , i swear i wont break out  in two months. that;s my goal.  thank you1

Hardly can speak any english at the pittsburgh airport . what's wrong with me? lol  see the surrounding persons . totally different from chinese people. there are few chinese people in pitt i guess.

no not really. i'm so scared of talking to americans. lol they always said sorry? what? huh?    i got embarrassed often.  i find myself still have a lot of difficulties communicating with them.     i'm here alone at campus usually,cant go out,cant talk to them much. that's so unberable.     No one can help me, i have to handle all the things myself here.

Just keep on chatting with them. Practice creates excellence. If you do not know what they are talking about, just ask them to explain to you. They are willing to do it. Be brave. That is all.

i apperaciate you consoling me . i'm trying   talking to them whenever is possible.  Americans are not that exciting than i thought they would be.   they are indifferent ,at least to me they are being that.   there is one thing so frustrated that my roommate is not helpful about help me  adpate to this new environment .  

pittsburgh's weather sucks, it just keep snowing all the days since i came here. so nowhere i could go to buy laptop and i cant go out alone.     the life is just totally different from that i  expected in china.       you know, i dont have any friends here, except my roommate. however, my roommate is kinda an odd.
