Argument17 The following appeared in a letter to the editor of the Walnut Grove town newspaper.     
"Walnut Grove's town council has advocated switching from EZ Disposal (which has had the contract for trash collection services in Walnut Grove for the past ten years) to ABC Waste, because EZ recently raised its monthly fee from $2,000 to $2,500 a month, whereas ABC's fee is still $2,000. But the town council is mistaken; we should continue using EZ. EZ collects trash twice a week, while ABC collects only once. Moreover, EZ—which, like ABC, currently has a fleet of 20 trucks—has ordered additional trucks. Finally, EZ provides exceptional service: 80 percent of respondents to last year's town survey agreed that they were 'satisfied' with EZ's performance."

Abstract:
1.        the town may not need trash collection so often
2.        buying new tracks not means they will improve their serves
3.        no comparing has gave out to show that the serves of EZ is better than ABC

The arguer mentioned that Walnut Grove’s town council has made a wrong decision on choosing trash collection company. Comparing the two companies—EZ Disposal and ABC Waste, the arguer felt EZ Disposal can give better serves to the town than ABC Waste do. So the town should not use ABC instead of EZ even the fee of EZ is much higher than ABC. There are several points should be doubted in the arguer’s describe.

First of all, does the Walnut Grove town really need trash collection two times a week as the EZ’s serves afford? The civiler in the town may have good habit of recycle waste and the environment of the town may so good that can recycle most of the nature produce wastes by itself. Therefore, the frequency of collecting trashes is not useful for this town. This factor may not be noticed until the fee of waste company raised, but now the council should choose a more economic and useable waste company for people like ABC Waste.

Second, will the new tracks bought by EZ improve the serves of the company to Walnut Grove? It is possible that EZ has many new customers recently, so it should increase the number of their equipment to satisfy the requirement of these new customers but not Walnut Grove. And we also can imagine that the equipment in the EZ is too old and need update after using ten years but ABC’s tracks are new enough to afford good serves. So why we should consider that new tracks bought by EZ is a superior segment than ABC Waste?

The last but not lest, the evidence is not strong enough to support people in the town is approving of the EZ’s serves. The arguer told us a survey shows that 80 percent of respondents to last year's town survey agreed that they were 'satisfied' with EZ's performance. After carefully considering about the result of the survey we may doubt several facets. 80 percent respondents satisfied with EZ’s performance what about the opinions of people not responding? Can we think about that another survey’s result is that more people agree with ABC’s serves? Too much dimness in the survey causes the council does not choose EZ Disposal.

As the facts mentioned above, the Walnut Grove's town council’s decision may legitimacy for civilities—choose ABC Waste replace EZ Disposal for trash collection services
