There are many cases in which people invariably complain about the paucity, or even absence of choice. We often hear some person saying," It is the only thing that I can do," or " There is no choice for me but..." However, after scrutiny of the phenomenon, we would find that in reality, the paucity, or even the absence of choice is a circumstance that is very, very rare. Whether there are diverse choices available, to a large extent, depends on yourself oneself比较好吧, including your inherent characteristic as well as hard working.
From the perspective of mine, the true absence of choice almost never happens. 这句话放在这里似乎没什么说服力,当主题句好像也不恰当People often claim that life's circumstances leave them with "no choice". One might feel trapped in a job or marriage. Nonetheless, the crux of the dilemma lies in the attitude by which an individual view his/her life. Usually, those claimants may take the unappealing even self-defeating as no choice. If that is the case, probably nobody on earth would own planty plenty of choices. In actuality, our life experience is that we make choices and decisions everyday-on a continual basis. Common sense tells us the humanities have free will, and therefore the true absence of choice is very rare. Even a prisoner could choose to face his/her life positively or passively.
感觉这段的结构性不是很强,论证和论据交叉在一起,说服力也不是很强,总是在感觉和好像是上面打转,文中用了plenty of choices,但是题目讨论的是有没有choice这样一来论证上出现漏洞
While admitting that various choices always lying lie ahead throughout one' s holistic life, we indeed know that the amount of choices available for every individual differs. Then people begin to complain about the anguish life without so-called justice and freedom. It Isthat true? In fact, this is also an available choice, to choose choosing to face with different amount of choices. Then how do we choose? To answer this question, we could resort to several tools at hand-as long as we belong to the human race-inherent characteristic and working habbit.
这段论点和论据关系不是很明确吧,看得不是很懂
On one hand, the inherent characteristic can to do some extent determine the choices available for us. This can explain why an average person with good-looking and excellent ability is more likely to be welcomed by the screen, thus begin his/her life as an actor/actress. Don't admire others' experience, while ignoring yours. After all, every individual is borned with his or her unique talents, or more precisingly speaking, characteristics, which he or she can utilize and develop throughout his or her life. Sometimes this characteristic can be combined with some proper task, thus leads to the one' great achievement in that field. As stepping toward a higher level, the choices avaible would be more.
On the other hand, only talent itself cannot solve the problem of paucity or absence of choices, at the same time hard working is another equally important factor, which should be associated with the unique talent. After all, though people's decision and choices are influenced by their inherent abilities, they can take great pains to make better choice for themselves. Helen Keller, physically-challenged individual, blind and deaf, gained bachelor's degree of arts and wrote books regarding ger thoughts of life and political world, help children who are blind and deaf in other countries. Allen Iverson raised in poverty, has become superstar of NBA, through hard training in skills of basketball, while his friends are addicted to drugs and alcohol humble social status, and suffered from racial discrimination.
这两段是不是在解释怎样可以得到更多机会?觉得有点偏题,题目毕竟是讨论选择项少的情况多不多,用文章主体去论证怎样得到更多机会似乎不太好。
Also, I concede that fades of us are not always fully controlled in our hands. In the autarchical society, such as Nazi Germany and Russia governed by Stalin, the citizens's civel rights are not guaranteed. Under this circumstance, the fortunes of ordinary people are under the control of authorities. However, they also have the selection to struggle for survival by resisiting the unjust administration, do the opposite capitulating or evading.
Simply put, although our fates are not fully controlled by ourselves and we may meet some occasions that we have not any choices, in most cases, we are usually troubled by so many choices rather than rarity of them. If we make effect arduously to achieve the target, the choice will automatically emerge in front of us. By ameliorating our own capacities, the scope and horizon of us would be so wide that we could be accessible to plenty of opportunities. |
