Can technology provide us more problems than it solves, or even may threaten or ruin the quality of life as the speaker maintains? Different people have different opinions about this contradiction. But in my opinion, I believe the technology indeed provides us convenience in which cannot be imagined before. Yet it also present many problems which cannot be easily resolved in modern world.

With the appearance of the first computer in United States, people were still accustomed with their separate life and even no people would have imagined a new world in which the people are relied on the computer or the internet so soon. Yet all these happened around us now. Not only did this technology create convenience, but provided problems to us. In college, students will never be very busy in taking notes in the classroom, and this phenomenon is very common in the past school. Yet today, all the schools have their own media rooms and the teachers have their own media textbooks. When the class begins, what the teachers to do is just opening the computer and playing the teaching movies. For the students, looking at the vivid movies with strong interests is what they have to do. If you ask the question about the feeling of this media class, of course both the teachers and students' answers is perfect.

In retrospection with my childhood life, I can clearly remember the picture of going to the railway station to buy the tickets. In that time, my father must buy the train ticket by himself in the station. Yet today, if you want to buy a ticket, even a movie ticket, what you have to do is just sitting in front of your computer and booking one through the internet. Every time when my father remember his terrible experience of his buying train tickets, he always says that how convenient of today's life it is. And absolutely I agree with his idea.

Some problems which cannot be solved in the past also can be resolved with the help of the technology. In the detective's view, the proof of the criminal is very important if you want to arrest the criminal. In the past, the detectives must search the clues by a careful and sensitive insight. Yet now the internet can provide a quick and exact clue to the sheriffs. As all people knows, the fingerprint is identical to various people, and with the help of the technology, the citizens' fingerprints are recorded by the computer and once there is a criminal happened, the police can find the fingerprint which the criminal had forgotten and quickly searched from the data. Looking at this benefit, the police would have to say the technology indeed solved many problems which they cannot solve it lonely.

All though the technology can provide most of convenience which I stated above, the problems given by it are also the trouble to the society. The internet criminals, the radiation by the phone, the exhaustion of raw materials, etc, all these problems  have impacted our life today. Take internet criminals as an example, we often headed some news about this phenomenon. Recently there is a news about the cheating of the bank. Two hackers intruded into the bank by only one computer and a phone. What they have done is to create some computer languages and encoded the bank codes. This is an unimaginable behavior in the past, but now it happens around us.

It is easily to use the technology as a good help to us. Yet when we require it as some other uses, we might obtain more problems which cannot be faced by our ancestors and may even make us embarrassed with this new tool. In conclusion, the technology give us not only the convenience, but sometimes it also provides us problems which cannot be solved easily by the method of the past. And with this problems continues, it even ruin the quality of people’s life.
