It seems that there is incompatible gap between tradition and modernization and therefore people should choose only one of them. However, in my opinion, I believe either tradition or modernization can bring us benefits in any level.

With the quick development of modern technology, people can bring anything what they want. From the industrial revolution to today's artificial intellect, people are favoring the modernization and confidently assert that the modernization has begun to play the most important role in our lives. For example, the internet provides people almost anything, such as convenient shopping in the internet, calling anyone in this world by the wireless phone, and the like. People are getting more and more accustomed with this change and even too reliable on the modern technology. In this case, lots of people would say that modern life has provided anything what they want and there is no need to focus on the tradition.

However, too much confusion has covered people's eyes and mind. What the modernization has provided us just the superficial convenience, but the real nature of our lives is relied on the tradition. In retrospect with contributions given by our ancestors, it might be that all of the discoveries and inventions have been provided by them. Consider, for example, with the success that Colombo first landed on America, people began to know how to sail farther and realize the methods how to modulate the ships. And today's sailing technology is also based on the old-traditional means to produce or modulate while the difference is that modernization has changed the superficial decoration or other convenient equipments which can better make sailors drive them. The successful invention of computer has changed mostly in this century and it seems that it allows us to create anything what we want. The Hollywood movies used the computer technology provides us lots of wonderful and fascinating movies. In science and education fields scientists and students are satisfied with the benefits of the modernization. With the above illustrations for the modernization, people should concede that people indeed grated many benefits from the modernization. Yet, such these modern technologies cannot forget the traditional methods which have created them.

As for the tradition, we must admit that they have directed modern people to create modernization. For instance, without the development of mathematics and science, the computer technology cannot be improved in a so short time and modern people also cannot be so content with the convenience provided by it. Traditional knowledge and experimental means are helpful to modern people and if we cannot use them for a good direction the modernization would also be damaged by us. To the contrary, modernization has encouraged people to seek and research the tradition and ultimately can better use them to serve for modern people's lives. As it stands, tradition is similar with the modernization.

However, we should also admit the disadvantages of the tradition. There are also some conservative people who believe that just the old things would be better. Such this behavior just can impede the development of modernization. From old times to now, there are many innovations and creations have been damaged by the so-called saint tradition. Bruno, a great scientist, has been fired in front of people because he has struggled with the tradition. With the empirical warning, modern people could not make the same mistake and should better use the tradition for the modernization.

In conclusion, after all, modernization has enhanced our social improvement and provides convenience for us. Tradition does not mean that it can direct modernization in any time and everywhere but we should call for a balance between them but not choose. Only facing them fairly people can satisfy the benefits provided by the modernization and could better explore from the tradition.

我觉得思路还挺清晰的啊．１、现代化的优点 2、现代源于传统（好象中间两段都是在说这个内容吧，角度虽然不一样，但是划分的不够清晰，所以看起来显得有点乱，另外例子有一点不对题） 3、盲目崇尚传统的缺陷
