  I strongly agree with the speaker that any field of study can advance significantly by bringing in expertise from other fields. When either in retrospect of the celebrities in history or taking a glance at our present high-developing modern society, people will be easy to find mountains of compelling illustrations to supporting my view.

  Retrospection of the elites in the realm of both nature and anthropology provides us with millions of instances on how their interdisciplinary study gains outstanding achievement. For this reason, they win admiration, respect, and awe from the public for a long time as well as their contemporaries. For one compelling example, Aristotle, an ancient Greece philosopher, makes significant contributions to not only philosophy as a thinker but also science including physics, astronomy and medicine as a scientist. Sometimes, an interest towards other domains will play an important or accessory role for an excellent scientist to establish admirable attainment in his/her domain, insofar as they strike an inspiration as well as aims from his/her particular hobby. Einstein, for an instance, gains high reputation as the father of the contemporary physics for his hard-to-replace fruits in physics. As once he said that his achievement would own to the inspiration gained from the violin, and to some extents the hobby helped soothe his worries and anxieties when facing with a difficulty task. In conclusion, all these story of history celebrities show that more significant achievement will gain in a certain field cooperated with other fields.

  In today’s technologically high-developing society, one field’s bringing in expertise from various domains is becoming more and more important. One needs look no further than the present appearance of nouns deprived from the so-called crossing subjects, such as biophysics, biochemical, etc. Only from their construction can we come to the conclusion that the cooperating of more than one field makes to some extents hard-to-imagine attainment that cannot be fulfilled with the knowledge from one domain. We can understand it more deeply from the use of computer in the realm of medicine. As is known to all, computer, reflect the level of social development, serves as an efficient tool in our daily lives as well as the scientific research. In the field of medicine, especially in anatomy, with the help of the computer technology the tissues and nerves can be manifests on the computer’s screen to show the accurate position of the illness for the doctors. In this way, it might be tempting for people to trust in the medical skill that can eliminate the pain or disease from them. Accordingly, interdisciplinary study do attain unexpected success for the booming of our society.

  Otherwise, since today’s world is a complicated net with all different knowledge tangling together, one isolated field similar to the plant living in no-air space can hardly go further. Imagine that, how the field of business can make striking fortune without the help from government area, mathematics, or even psychology; how the field of archaeology can make meaningful discoveries without referring to the knowledge from astronomy, biochemistry and the computer science. From above, I can say that “It is none of your business” will never be heard in the study or research area.

  In sum, the speaker’s assertion that no field of study can advance significantly without the expertise from other fields is more and more convinced by the successful evidences of interdisciplinary study from our ancient and today’s celebrities; and I can assure that it will have more and more advocators in the future.
