字数:572(703) 用时:0:45:00(20) 日期:2006-8-17
后来花了二十分钟,多写了些,就写多了。
Nowadays, the majority of people become more and more concerned about the protection of living environment around them since it is closely related with human life. (这句好)When it comes to the remote wilderness areas, people seem to hold different opinions about the protection. Some people claim that the remote areas are inaccessible to most people; consequently special protection is not necessary. It is true?(Is it true?) Of course not,(这个问答觉得写得不好,一问一答里感觉太简单了,好像用点whether, should 开头提问可能好点) the protection of wilderness areas is of great significance for both contemporary and the descendants.
To begin with, the wilderness areas which are remote currently might not be far-off in the near future. As we know, the development of society and economy is at the expense of no renewed precious natural resources, such as coal, iron, and oils and so on. In the past, we human beings are not able to touch a great many of remote areas in the world due to the limitation of transportation and technologies. However, nowadays, those barriers have been removed away, and we could excavate and exploit those natural resources more conveniently as we expect. In addition, the spectacular further progress of the society would require and demand more natural resources which unavoidably encourage people to get their hands on the nature, even the relatively remote areas. There is no doubt that the preservation policy enacted by the government would reduce the potential and possible problems which might arise tomorrow. In other words, the preservation of wilderness areas would forestall the possible damage in the near days.
Actually, the preservation of remote natural areas would bring far more benefits to both the society and our humans, for both contemporary and descendants. And the advantages mainly cover the following areas.
Firstly, the preserved areas could remain its original appearance as much as possible which would be the best homes for a variety of plants and animals there. It is known that even merely a few people touch and damage to the nature, this behavior would have made unanticipated negative effects on the living environment of those life-forms. For instance, there is a preserved natural area in SiChuan in China, named Wo Long, which is known as the comfortable home for pandas. There, those rare pandas live happy lives, since human activities are strictly constrained in the particular field. Although this area is far from the living areas of human, government still stipulates it as a special protective area for pandas. Undoubtedly, the policy of the government is correct and significant, or else the current existence of rare pandas is open to doubt.
(这个观点经不起推敲,保护自然并不是隔绝人与自然的作用,而达到人与自然的和谐,你的意思是人不能去动自然)
Secondly, those wilderness areas could be regarded and used as a natural lab, where human could carry on the researches on the species or biology evolvement which are intensely related with the welfare of human ourselves. When the various kinds of species, especially the typical ones, are not extinct, we are more capable of dealing with the analysis of biology evolvement, and find out the answers of human evolvements. Also, in the reserved areas, researchers could observe wild animals and plants to make out the complicated relationship between different species, further make full use of these correlations to serve for the welfare of humans.
Last but not least(这个说法据说不地道,最好不要用), the preserved areas, in fact, are appropriate places to educate people about more knowledge of the nature. For instance, the public could be invited to the wilderness areas to have a look at the animals or plants, and a direct view and observation might serve as a better classroom for obtaining knowledge concerning the nature. There, in a vivid form, people get to realize the importance of a balanced nature, and the independence between different species. What is more important, the protection of those wilderness areas might be useful to improve the public awareness of the environmental protection, especial the protection of homes for precious species. It is expected that this form of preservation action of government would receive a satisfactory influence.
To sum up, the preserved wilderness areas are considerably beneficial to the whole society not only for forestalling the potential damage, but also for providing more opportunities for people’s research on the nature, the protection of the various species, and an effective approach of improving public awareness of the protecting wild species and their habitat.
