Does personal economic success requires conformity rather than individuality as the speaker claims? I concede that conformity is necessary for the success in that we have to conform to the laws, the mores and the traditions and customs when doing business or other professions in order. However, in my view, concerning making much more money, the individuality makes us outstanding in our fields and therefore lead to financial success.

The conformity is the basic requirement when you start your career, and effective way to make you adapt to the new environments. Each profession has its own principles that every people in this field have to conform to. As a lawyer, you have to conform to the well-defined legislations when you defend for your client, and you also have to comply with the rules that restrict the means you defend. As a business, you have to admit the principle of values, as well as the regulations of the market, both aboveboard and underlying.

Moreover, conformity could benefit ourselves .On one hand, it can help us to make self-improvement. As a novice, you have to improve your self in order to be capable and competent as soon as possible. It is very likely that the organization or institution you enter have some exiting laws, rules and normal ways to solve problems. Conformity can help us realize the new circumstances and be familiar with them, and it is a shortcut for you to directly conform to these kinds of routines which will also absolutely help you to learn.
  
On the other hand, conformity is an efficient way to gain the trusts of others, which is commonly the foundation of success. Because conformity makes a person more reasonable and predictable， and undoubtedly increase the credit of that person. A man who conforms to mores, traditions and customs are more  likely to be reliable than a hippie in that we can observe the personal ideas of values by what they conform to.

However, merely relying on the conformity while neglect to make use of our own individuality could yet cause us to be distinctive from others, and it is the dissimilarities with the ordinary people in a certain or some respects that  result in economical success. Creativity, which is a main aspect of individuality, is the main reason why few people could achieve financial success. Sticking to settled rules could only make you not go wrong since excellent works have to do with the creativity. And after you reach a certain level that you know the pros and cons of the current methods, it is necessary to break away from the common ideas and rules using your creativities and attain greater achievements.

Personality, a basic means to reflect human individuality, plays an important role in personal economic success as well. It is the force of the collectivity, not the individual that could succeed in this fiercely competitive society. The collaboration is increasingly important to the personal success, that a good relationship with partners is one of the keys to make a fortune.  And the personality that determines whether others are intends to work with you.

To sum up, conformity is necessary in the threshold of a procedure to success. And meanwhile, the individuality, the primary features that make us different forms others， determine whether we could obtain personal economic success after familiar with the occupations. It is the synergy of both of the two factors that probably make us economical success.

不过觉得你的论证都很好，可以考虑加些例子，显得更有血有肉一些
