I strongly agree with the statement that absence of choice is a very rare circumstance due to our daily lives experience. Besides, the analysis of the contrary statement that we often have no choice supports the speaker more firmly.(没有选择地支持么?? 这里是想说选择少还是表明支持的态度?) However, I admit that choice is indeed rare when it comes to certain areas.
To begin with, common sense tells us that we need to make choices every day, and due to the various choices the true absence of choice is very rare. From the moment a man get up in the morning, he has to choose which suit to wear today, what to eat for breakfast, how to go to work, and so on. Along the development of modern technology, people tend to have more choices in every aspect than in the past. Consider (Considering)learning, people can choose the media among e-books, internet, television program; consider (considering)transportation, people have various choices, for instance, train, plane, bus, ship, and so on; consider(considering) communication, if people want to hear each other's voice, they can choose telephone; if people prefer to see each other, they can use internet; if they want to communicate some profound ideas, they can choose e-mail or traditional letter. Accordingly, people have to make choice every day, and they can choose among an infinite number of choices.(例子很多,但缺乏稍微深刻一点的分析)
In addition, (应该是表示转折,用however好些)there are two reasons for some people to claim that they have "no choice". The fist is has to do with the lack of the courage and wisdom to make a choice. For example, a student who finished his high school wants to choose history as his major, because he is interesting in history. But his parents want him to learn economics in university for the major can benefit their child in the future job market. Accordingly, the student has to choose between his own interest and his parents' expectation. If he finally chooses to obey his parents, he might claim that he has "no choice". Actually, he had alternative choice, to take history as his major according to his interest, but he did not have enough courage to disobey his parents, and he also without the wisdom to judge which one is more important for him.(在这个例子里,这个学生似乎不是没有选择,而是犹豫不知如何选择~不大适合用来证明 some people to claim that they have "no choice"吧)
The second reason has to do with people's high expectation. In my observation, students graduated from our colleges often expect much higher job position and salary than they actually can get. Thus, they might claim that they have "no choice" in the job market. In fact, they have many choices, but they expect too much for their jobs and those choices are not viable and attractive to them. Accordingly, if they realize the real condition of job market and their capability, they would not say that again.(这段例子和论证都不错,很有现实意义,呵呵)
Finally, I have to point out that although cases about absent of choice are rare, they do occur occasionally. When it comes to natural principles, people do not have the capability to change those rules. For example, people cannot decide or change the time when an eclipse or hurricane occur, instead, they can only forecast and observe it. Moreover, everyone in the world would die one day and none can avoid the death. Another thing that people cannot choose is his kin. A man cannot decide to be born as a farmer's son or a noble's son. In short, only in these extreme aspects, people did not have alternative choices.(唯物辩证观点,很好)
In sum, due to the reasons mentioned above, we may safely draw the conclusion that circumstance lacking of choice is very rare, except some occasional areas. “I have no choice” is often the pretext for people who lack of courage and wisdom or people who evaluate themselves higher than their actual capability.
