"Technology creates more problems than it solves, and may threaten or damage the quality of life."  
Outline:
1 Technology solves lots of problems, the terns of benefits are far more and important than the problems it creates ( taking in the area of economic , political, culture for example)
2 technology will not threaten or damage the quality of life, on the contrary, it will improve the quality of life
3 technology creates some problems on some instance

Did technology create more problems than it solves as the arguer mentioned above? However, It is not the case,In my opinion, technology solve more problems than it creates, and enhance the quality of people’s life.
Firstly, it solves lots of problems .What’s more , the terns of problems it solves are far more than it creates. It is an important benefit it takes. For instance, in terns of the individual . Human being are surviving longer and living more comfortable than they are used to. Throughout most of human history, limitations on food production, together with lack of medical knowledge, have placed limits on the size of population. Dreadful diseases like the bubonic plague have actually reduced populations .As medical science progressed toward greater understanding of the nature of disease and its prevention, new-medical science and maternal-care practices contributed to rapid population growth, in the second half of the nineteenth century , such discoveries as antiseptics and anesthesia made possible other life-prolonging medical treatments.

I concerned that the quality of life is about the condition the human live in and the apparatus people use. For instance, computers enhance a student’s learning experience in many ways. It can make the teacher’s job easier,and help teachers keep student records and chart students progress. Thereby cutting down on time-consuming paperwork. Computer promotes the efficiency of people’s work and also improve the quality of teacher’s life.
Admittedly , It is true that technologies take much benefits, however, it also brings some problems. Taking air pollution, desertification and deforestation for example, people are more easy to break down the environment with the tools and methods that improved by technology. Also, such as nuclear power and chemical plants, can directly threaten human life. As charles perrow writes:”human-made catastrophes appear to have increased with industrialization as we built devices that could not crash, sink, burn or explode” perrow also points out that the increasing complexity of modern technology has led to a new kind of catastrophe: the failure of whole systems,as in the case of the Three Mile island accident of the Challenger disaster
To sum up, technology solves more problems than it creates , though , it is true that it creates some problems ,and are making our daily life more comfortable . We should make good use of technology and let it more contribute to our society
