I strongly agree with the speaker that people should obey just laws, which are the foundations of the stability of our world, and disobey and resist unjust laws to make our system of laws becomes more and more mature. However, as the world does not only contain white and black, laws are not limited in just ones and unjust ones.In the very beginning, I would like to give definitions to the notions 'just laws' and 'unjust laws'. Laws are designed to control or alter our behaviors in order to ensure that our society is well-ordered. Thus, it is unavoidable that people need to compromise to each other and give up part of their rights to do whatever they want. However, this does not mean that laws could unlimited restrict people's behaviors. All kinds of laws should follow the same rule: everyone has the equal right to survive in this world. If one law obeys this rule, we generally regard it as a just one. On the contrary, the law goes against this rule would be viewed as an unjust one. (偶想问一哈这是你自己的定义么?如果是自己想的定义,可以加一些限定词如a narrow definition of …is …显得比较严谨)All people should obey just laws because they have been the glue that has kept society together. Laws regulate people's behaviors into some extent so that they have the least possibility to conflict with each others. For example, drivers have to drive their cars on the pointed side of a two-way street. If people were allowed to select at random which side of the street to drive on, driving would be dangerous and chaotic. In addition, even in a well-ordered society, disagreements and conflicts are inevitable. Laws provide a way to resolve these disputes peacefully. If two people claim to own the same piece of property, laws and related institutions should decide who is the real owner (who the real owner is)and make sure that the real owner's rights are respected. Since people now are socialized, it is necessary and responsible for them to obey the laws to keep the peace of their society. However, our system of laws has not been the one we see today since it was born. It is people's efforts to struggle with unjust laws that make our system of laws become more and more mature. Nowadays, discrimination against colorful ethnic would be punished by our laws. However, in the past, some laws even say that colorful (I feel this word is quit strange, maybe “diverse/various/colored people or colors” are better.) ethnics are than white ones and the former should follow the order of the latter. These laws obviously go against the rule a law should follow and embodies disrespect to human beings. If all people obey these laws and make little effort to change them, they will always remain the same. Fortunately, our ancestors are brave enough to disobey and resist them. Finally, these laws have been revised to claim that all ethnic should be treated fairly. Obviously, only when people try to disobey unjust laws, our system of laws can be better. Finally, due to different understanding of life, some laws cannot be cataloged in to just laws and unjust laws. One of the hottest topics of our current laws is whether laws which permit abolition are just or unjust. Some people believe that the union of the male sperm and the female ovum signifies the formation of a life and thus nobody has the right to prevent it from coming to our world. People who hold such opinion certainly view laws that permit abolition as unjust. On the contrary, someone believes that only when embryos detached from their mothers, they become members of human beings. Thus they believe that abolition does not kill a life and the laws which permit abolition are just. Both of them are reasonable from their perspective. Since people do not reach agreement on the notion of 'life', the problems of this kind of laws have to leave to the time.(例子很fit,赞)To sum up, people are responsible to follow just laws and make our society stable. At the same time, they also have responsibility to go against unjust laws to make our laws become better. As to those laws which are hard to judge whether they are just or unjust, only time could solve such puzzles.(记得范文中一篇5分文的评语说是缺少深度才导致那文非6而5,偶觉的考前还是多多思考对一些问题形成自己的见解,不过总体看来已经很好了,每次自己写语法拼写都错20、30个,汗!^_^祝你好运!)
考虑一下这种写法是否可行:
第一段:讲law, 包括其目的和简单的发展史
第二段:on the one hand说just的law当然要遵照,说其重要性; on the other hand 说unjust的law是一个复杂的问题,当然如果遵守将不利于社会发展,如果不遵守还要注意一些方法问题。MLK and Gandhi revolution without violence
第三段:(一种解决办法),为避免恶法的出现,应该健全社会制度:在法律生效前要尽量听取各方的意见,进可能的避免恶法的出现。如民主社会法律是xxx制定的,如何避免了unjust law emerging
可能用到的素材:
1.Gustav Radbruch, one of the greatest jurists in Germany, once said and I paraphrase: “法必是良法,恶法不是法.”
2.Rousseau’s “social contract theory” what should be just?...
3.euthanasia: there was a great discussion about euthanasia in American. a vegetable person called Terri Schiavo, her husband said that if she was alive, she would like to accept the euthanasia instead of enduring the endless suffering; however, Terri’s mother maintain that she did want to see her daughter death....
个人见解,不同意请唾弃。 |
