It is much controversial to determine whether outsiders play an important role in advances in certain fields. While the speaker asserts so, I fundamentally agree with the view of the speaker.


To begin with, there is no denying that no field of study can thrive even survive without the knowledge and experience of their related fields. It is true especially in the literature. A excellent litterateur not only has profound knowledge in linguistics, but also must have enough knowledge in psychology, history, politics, even geography.  First of all, Psychologic knowledge enable litterateur to limn the personality of roles in their works vividly. Because psychologists tell litterateurs that what words can express anger felicitously, what words can express brave. In addition, a litterateur also gains valuable information about a crucial historical war from historians, which may become the important backdrop of his/her written novel.  When a itterateur trys to criticize a social campaign, necessary political knowledge is needed. In fact, many distinguish litterateurs are also famous politicians , ideologists ,such as Xun Lu , Zhedong mao in China.

Further, the introduction of other fields’ knowledge and experience leads to  the progress even breakthrough of the field of study . Retrospecting the process of medicine’s evolution, one would discover that the improvement  of medicine is closely related with the application of other fields’ knowledge or technology .Ultrasonic from physics made it possible that doctors diagnose and cure some certain disease without  
Scalpels. The marriage of the doctors’ botanical and medical knowledge leads them to discover special plants which have great effects on treating some disease. The application of computer network in medicine causes doctor to diagnose and supervise patients far away. In this way, patients can see a doctor without going to hospital. It is so convenient. Moreover, In modern medicine, a growing number of electronic equipment was used in medical test and analysis. We can imagine that if there are no effort of electronic and mechanical engineers, can these sophisticated machines be produced?  In short, the achievements of medicine should owe to a variety of fields.

Finally, the knowledge and experience from outsiders inspire the innovation of one’s specified field.   For supporting examples, one only needs to consider the bionics .By studying the biological principle, engineers study how to design the engineering system effectively. For instance, the flying of the insects gives the scientist this inspiration: If I can design a kind of airplane which is as small as the insect, we can go to the enemy’s camp but not be detected. In fact, in recent few years, the studying  of the insects’ habits have made scientists be near to success in producing this airplane. Moreover, the design of the “BMW” car is an aptly nature. By learning the traits of the animals and plants in nature, they learned how to produce the material used in car which is not only light but also tight. By learning the shape of the animals, they made the appearance of their cars more interesting, the seats of the car more comfortable .etc. From these examples, we can find that the success of bionics needs to combine the knowledge of plants, animals, and engineer.  


To sum up , based on the analysis above, we can safely conclude that  the introduction of knowledge and experience from outside can greatly accelerate the advances in the current field of research.
