issue51 "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."
Syllabus:
Position: agree.
Summary.
Along with the coming of knowledge economy, people pay more and more attention on how to make the education effective. I tempt to agree with the speaker that education will be truly effective when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.
We often hear the complaint that math is boring from some children who are not good at math and the compliments that math is so attractive, so fantastic from the students who love math. The reason for these two entirely different responds indicates that math teaching will be effective for the students who are interested in math. As Einstein once said that, Interest is the greatest teacher. Kaifu Lee’s example demonstrates this point perfectly. The Chinese Area CEO of Google, Kaifu Lee felt drowsy in the class when he was a law school student at the University of Colombia; however, his interest was not law but the computer science. After one year studying, he chose to study the computer science to meet his interest. Later, he became a famous expert on voice recognition. Lee’s example illustrates the important role that the interest plays in the education.
On the contrast, the harm is countless if the education doesn’t meet individual’s need and interest. As we all know that there is no Noble Prize winner in China. I think the main reason is that our previous education cared too much about the general study but paid less attention on students’ interests. This kind of education means throttling the students’ characters and suppressing the students’ creativities. The outcome of the education which does not satisfy the students’ need is just the process of copy the students who have little creativity but only are able to memorize the knowledge practiced, and doesn’t fit the request of the demand of science and technology. Furthermore, a student who are forced to study the subject that he or she have little interest in will usually feels frustrate and even lose his interest to learn. It’s harmful for the development of the student’s psychology.
Moreover, education doesn’t fulfill individual’s needs means unfair, it’s a kind of deception. Every child spends the same money and the same time in pursuing the knowledge they are interested in, but for some of them who have little interested in some subjects, their paying don’t meet their reward compared to the others who are interested in these subjects. It’s ridiculous to talk about efficiency of education without justice. Asking everyone to have the same interesting is unrealistic, so in order to make to education impartial, education has to be designed to meets individual’s needs and interests.
The aim of education is to find every student’s interests, to exploit every student’s potentialities and to cultivate the students useful for the society development. Only does the education cater for the individual’s interests and needs, the education is more effective to fulfill its aim.

[It’s harmful for the development of the student’s psychology.这句话觉得还没完,感觉上米国人蛮实际的,psychology的问题最后还是要归于material、physical的问题才是真有问题吧。另外这一段就以noble为例,并且其与our education的关系也是guess,感觉不能令人信服]

Moreover, education doesn’t fulfill individual’s needs means unfair, [前后是两句话吧,是不是要连词?]it’s a kind of deception. Every child spends the same money and[ the same 重复吗]time[ on present terrible education ]to pursue the knowledge they are interested in, but for some of them who have little interested in some subjects, their paying don’t meet their reward [用profit=reward-pay 怎么样]compared [to 用with ]the others who are interested in these subjects. [t’s ridiculous to talk about efficiency of education without justice.这个观点看着有点晕,有空的话lz帮忙解释下哈] Asking demanding everyone to have the same interesting is unrealistic, so in order to make to education impartial, education has to be designed to meets individual’s needs and interests.
The aim of education is to find every student’s interests, to exploit every student’s potentialities and to [ultimately和前面有递进的关系吧 ]cultivate the students useful for the society development. [嗯,不管怎么样,比偶写的好多了。如果中间多些具体事例就更好了。]

结构和用词比我好多了,只是感觉上部分复杂句有点混乱;)
