Admittedly, in some extent, thesocialization of children determines the fate of society partly and we have notyet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society. However, we should not omit other factors that influencethe development of society.
There is no denying thefact that the socialization of children is important for society. Socialization(改为This socialization比较好), in otherwords, is that children learn to be part of the society. The precondition ofsocial development is all its members, especially children, involve in thesociety. For example, Ma jiajue, who was a sophomore and killed his fourclassmates three years ago, shocked all people in China. On account of hisenvironment of family and school, he became unsociablewhen he was a middle school student, since then, he withdrew with communicating with other students. At last, hekilled his roommates for the fake(sake) of a petty quarrel. If all students like Ma jiajue, the society will bog down and lose the force(impetus) of development.
However, although teaching children to be social men is crucial, we should not ignoreother factors that play a vital role in the society such as morality, scienceand technology, and economy. First of all, morality makes the society moreharmonious and stable. Besides, science and technology facilitate people's life and promote thedevelopment of economy. Moreover, economy provides the mental and materialproducts to satisfy people's different(various)needs. All of them and the socialization which shouldbe put together determine the fate of society.
I agree the statement thatwe have not yet learned how to teach children to build a better society.Firstly, as the example of Ma jiajue discussed above, it tells us that weshould pay much attention to help children to be part of the society. Secondly, one cannot expect that children take messages aboutmorality seriously unless they see adults behave according to moral norms inday-to-day affairs. Nevertheless, some adults violate the standards even somecelebrities who we usually regard as role models did so. For example, Kohl, theformer chancellor of Germany, involved in the scandals of misusing publicfunds; And Nixon and the notorious Watergate(Watergate). Thirdly, adults always teach children towork hard to be great scientists, yet, a lot of so-called "famousexperts" involve in academic scandals. For instance, the Hwang Woo Sukcase of Korea and Chin jin's Hanxin digital signal processing unit chip case ofChina. Last, we all know that there are full of cheating, trap and scandals inthe realm of economy. If adults cannot be good role models, how can childrenlearn to build a prosperous society.
I fundamentally agree withthe statement that teaching children to be apart of society plays a big role indetermining the destiny of society. However, we should not overlook some othersignificant factors such as morality, science and technology, and economy. Asthe statement asserted we do indeed have not yet learned how to teach childrento setup a wonderful society. But adults must know that they should(感觉有些别扭) influence theattitudes and behaviors of children greatly. 总体框架看来已经很清晰了,还是很不错的,继续加油吧,在完善一下细节就更优秀了~~ |
