Has video become more important in our society that the written records? The speaker asserts that video play a more vital role than written records. Nevertheless, in my viewpoint, video is an important and useful tool for people, but it can’t take place of the documental records, especially the written records.
It’s not deny that video provide considerable information and convenience, which seems more accurate and more convincing than written record. the information from television is more vivid and more easy to understand than the written records do. For instance, the world cup live in television is more dramatic and wonderful than the teletext in “yahoo.com”. With the help or video camera, many important events could be record and replay before us--the same scene as it happen.
        However, on the other hand, written record have its own advantage which video record could not compare, to some extent, video is more focus on the appearance while written records try to reveal what  inside. One of the obvious example, like the example mentioned earlier, you could not realize why Zidane strike Materazzi a violent blow by his bald head in the last minute of World cup final in the video. In a not dissimilar way , you could not get the information that who direct the whole “911”  while you look at the world trade centre burn down by three plane. Under this circumstance, it is obvious that ,writing records a more dimension of one individual things. What's more, it connect diverse phenomenon into a broad enough picture to realize the whole thing.
       From a practical point of view，a sizeable majority of things can be only record by written. It is impossible for you to record one's ideology and experience, especially when the experience born before the video camera. Cause there are 3000 years old of written word while the video is only 60years old. The Greek philosophers, epitomized in Aristotle, both of them bequeath a rich knowledge to us, have never been appear before the camera. Video is so a limit tool in some place, especially in the past history .In addition, video is of no use in documenting the terms of a complex low, like the Declaration of Independence. and it even impossible for you to write a GRE Analytical issue!
         Written records remains the most efficient way for people to acquire information and knowledge. Although digital camera and video camera has become more popular today, written record due to its own virtue remain bloom in the TV age. At first, the written record are more legible than video which always twinkling and not stop. Moreover, the books are easy to carry and need no power supply, which make to adaptable to different condition. Besides, you can tick on the books and write your own ideas, which is in favor of reviewing and better understanding. As a result, the circulation of newspaper, magazine and books are still high. Books as an old way of acquiring information and knowledge still hold strong life force.
         In short, written record are also plays its great role in the modern world even though people are impacted a lot by video. We should take account of both in considering the importance of both, one for the amusement and the other for the active involvement with thinking and action

你的观点和我不太相同,不过写的也不错!论证很好的.感觉你的观点是书籍更有力,所以写written 多一些.这个想法也不错. 我在写的时候主要是认为video更好,所以花在它上面的段落多些! 这个还是因文章内容而异的.
