TOPIC: ISSUE51 - "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

    I concede that it is essential for the education to be designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.Yet,I doubt that whether it is the only method to make the education truly effective?To solve the problem,I choose the angles of the paradox between students' interests and essential researching fields in the world,the randomness and blindness of the interests of students and the availability of cultivating the interests of students to debate as below.
    First of all,as a matter of fact there are hundreds of researching areas in the world.It must be some reasons for our ancestors to creat them,like the contributions of them to the society improvements or to the other relevant areas.So they are all neccessary and must be learned and developed by some people.Only in this way can our soceity to be improved in a balanced pace.In so many fields of researching or studying,there must be some fields are "hot",while some fields are not so popular to the students.In this angle,if we underscore the "interests-oriented" too much,we would never have the oppertunity to develop these subjects which are not so popular but yet necessary even very important to our soceity.
    Second,which can also answer the question left in the discussion above,"Why the variety of the interests of students is so unbalanced that we can't find enough students to learn and study in some cold but yet necessary fields",the answer is that the common interests of students sometimes are misoriented by our society.Like in the united states,most of the  adolescence want to be a doctor or a lawyer in the future because in the hollywood films,in the society advatisements,doctors are the angels to save other people's life while the lawyers always proclaim justice.But the occupations of doctor and lawyer are occupying only a little proportions of the job market of the soceity.Most of  the neccessary and also interesting occupation can't be propagandized enough by the soceity.consequently,our students can't get enough informations to find their genuine interests.And so their having-founded interests may be unstable and easy to be given up.
    So we can build some education methods to discover the genuine interests of our students instead of ideally emphasize the interests-oriented.One of the best methods,I contend,is through teaching the compulsary courses to cultivate the interests of our students.As everyone know,there are some basic subjects such as maths,physics are neccessary to every human beings who wants to earn a good living in the society.Yet,lots of students don't want to learn them for they are bald and not job-oreiented apperantly.It's the high time for the educators to establish these basic courses to be compulsary to the students.Through the instructing of this basic courses,our instructors can usher our students to their true intersts through instill some extent knowledges in the courses.
    Finally,I want to point out that eduction is not only instill knowleage,the more important function of the eduction is to teach our students how to grow,how to communicate,how to cultivate their personality,thier spirits and eventually how to be a great human being.In this angle I have to question the whole statement given above.
