KSU我刚刚才问出来，国际学生第一年不给
faint，还好那边我信用卡找不到，所以没交钱，不然就亏了，而且也不是什么好学校

另一个alberta，那时预申弄得沸沸扬扬的
我那时过了还挺高兴的
结果发现，他们本科就要学高微高宏高计之类的
我没学，似乎就背他们弄到一个叫什么Qualifying program去先读一年
而且似乎不给奖，
sigh，可怜我的100加币啊

我连alberta预审都没过，告诉我托福得超过620。省了100刀

Hey, i want to say sorry about the Alberta thing, cuz i recommended the school to you. I didn't know you will end up with such a situation. I thought you will be fine because you major in Economics. Again, sorry and best wishes.

个人感觉Alberta 的经济 deadline 和给offer都挺晚，申请alberta的朋友不用太心急

alberta is very easy to get in.
every year, a couple of guys in my department applies its econ phd and were accepted.But some of them only use it as backup.
I know a girl applied U alberta around april(when all the other universities rejected her,) and she is accepted and got enter fellowship. In the same year, a girl applies one week earlier and got GA.

But AU is deadly cold, winchill as low as -50 degree. I think this is one reason that it is easy to get in, even it is a very good unviersity in Canada(but not top, of course).

Further, brown bears appear in the compus. (Only black bear appear in my compus, :loveliness: ). The difference is that black bear is small and very shy, while the brown bear is very, very aggressive!
