Issue177  The study of an academic discipline alters the way we perceive the world.  After studying the discipline, we see the same world as before, but with different eyes.
提纲：大同小异
同意：1、使我们了解世界的工具手段增加，从而使的人们得以了解的世界的范围变大

不同意：理解世界方法的改变使反作用于世界向好的方向发展。

According to the statement, by studying an academic discipline can we perceive the same world in a different way. With regard to my point of view, however, the study of an academic discipline can alter not only the way we perceive the world, but also the world itself.
I agree with the author’s point for two main reasons.  One is that the study of an academic discipline gives rise to the appearance of some equipment and tools, which extend the scope of the world we intend to perceive.  For example, inventing a microscope requires the well study and holistic knowledge of optics of physics.  With the help of a microscope, it is practicable for a biologist to research the life on the cellular level, which surprisingly enriches the perceivable world.  As a result, a set idea that plants and animals are completely different was challenged when the cellular structures of plants and animals were eventually discovered.  There exists similar cytoplasm in plants and animals cell separately.  In short, it is because of the accumulating number of equipments and tools that we can alter the way we perceive the world.
The other fundamental reason is that we are induced to consider a case within a certain academic range we’ve studied.  I will take a fresh science advancement, the biotechnology of clone, for example to illustrate my point of view.  A scientist is likely to regard it for the gospel because they know how to apply this technology to some aspects so as to benefit the human beings. For instance, with the application of clone can an agricultural scientist breed a productive hybrid rice to settle the problem of starvation in some developing countries.  However, the technology of clone is a controversial problem to some socialists, for they are convinced that the use of such technology will challenge the social ethics and moral principles especially as for the use of clone of human beings.  Admittedly , how you deceive the world have something to do with what you have studied.
In addition to the agreement with the author’s view, I think the world is also altered after we study a discipline.  The study of the academic disciplines stimulates the development in both the field of social civilization and science technology, thus creates a more harmonious and comfortable world.  Without the study of legislation, we may live in a world with high crime rate.  Without the study of nature science, such as physics, chemistry and biology, it is almost impossible for the appearance of light and vehicles which contribute a lot to the comfort and convenience of daily life.
  In general, due to the extension of the perceivable world, the preference to utilize one’s knowledge in perceiving the world and the possibility to effect the development of the world, we may safely arrive at the conclusion that a study of an academic discipline alters the way to perceive world and the world itself as well.
