3, 但是这些信息不能取代亲临现场的感受
4, 电视与电脑会促进旅游业的发展
5, 总结
Will tourism become out of date as a result of the popularity of the television and worldwide computer connection? The statement assumes so. While I am quite aware of the fact that television and computer provide great amount of information about different places, I propose that tourism will thrive rather than obsolete as a result.
Needlessly to say the popularity of the television and computer brings a myriad of information about the world. Without stepping out of our house, we can get in touch with the world simply by turning on the TV or surfing the internet. Seated in front the screens and having snacks, we can look down and enjoy the view from the top of Alps; we can have a tour in the White House. The Great Wall, the pyramid, the most modern cities...as long as you can think up any place of interest, information about it and vivid pictures will be provided by the television or the computer in no time.
But information offered by television and computer can no replace that of the experience when visiting the real places. Television and computer can provide lots of information about the view or the routines, but they can not provide us the emotions or the feelings. One see the view of the top of the Alps by television, but one can not feel the icy wind or the touching of the grim sunshine--that is the real elements of the place other than views, and more important, the pride and excitement filled in the heart after a hard and tiring adventure. One can know the basic information such as the layout and history of the White House by surfing the internet, but one never feel the special atmosphere permeated in the buildings. The Great Wall, the pyramid or any other place--it is true one can get an overview of them, but one can seldom get the feelings of being present. The information provided by television and computer, in fact, don't satisfy the interest and curiosity of the individuals, instead they trigger more interest and curiosity for the places.
Tourism ,as a matte of the fact, will thrive with the help of the information supplied by television and computer. On one hand, television and computer attracts more people to places of interest. With the help of propaganda, those places become more and more famous. The beauty of the natural scene or the excitement of traveling in big cities usually attracts the anxiety of people to experience the reality. On the other hand, with the information offered by television and computer, tourism becomes fairly more convenient for individuals. Booking hotels can easily be easy with the information about hotels. Information about routines, the plane or the train or even the weather can be obtained before going for a trip.
Real tour means more than the information provided by television and computer. Considering the influence imposed by television and computer, tourism will thrive rather than decline. |
