I agree with the speaker that it is often necessary, and even desirable, for political leaders to withhold information from the public.A contrary view would reveal a naivete about the sorts of compromises on the part of well-intentioned political leaders necessary in order to further the public's ultimate interests.Nevertheless, we should allow our political leaders properate freedom or even responsibility to withhold information so as to preserve rights and interests of the public.

In the first place, a wise leaders play a vital role in the stableness of the society in that the society is protected by the government and army in which command of the leaders must be carried out.It is the authority of the leaders that make others trust them and rely on them.Therefore,leaders of course have the freedom to make the privacy which should not be pay much attention by the public of incredible curiosity a secret for the public to gain and matain political leadership.For example, were all politicians to fully disclose every personal foibles, character flaw and detail concerning personal life, few honest politicians would ever by elected.Also, personal scandals have in fact proven the undoing of many a political career.Thus, I think this view is realistic.

Furthermore, keeping the nation safe and stable ,it is the most efficient way to inhibit some information which may destory and harm the society.Let us take a look a specific example from the financial crisis of Asia in 1997.A rumor spreaded all over the Thailand is the direct reason that cause the depression of Asian finance.Assuming that the leader of Thailand's government can detain this rumor ,then the public did not circulate it around the Asia and the crisis would not take place damaging the financial system of Asia.

Nonetheless, news of importance to the society and public should be informed ,while above information is kept.Some news shifts the capability of the government or even the society as well as some others should be received by the whole world.Two examples that aptly illustrate this point:One is the SARS in China, the other is the Greenhouse Effect.SARS is a kind of infectious diseases which is severely contagious in the public.Whereas the leader of government held back the important information until the government failed to control the complexion.If the public had protected themself by the informing of the government, SARS must not cause such a great number of death.Just as the SARS, the Greenhouse Effect should be notified to everyone on our earth as soon as possible.Without the effort of the whole human beings, our earth stand a good chance to return the glacial period by the heating of the Greenhouse Effect.

In conclusion,without the vital information of the public ,there will be a chaos in the society even in the world.Without the withholding of some information concerning the leaders themselves, we may have no satisfied leader and no stable society.Thus,while informing the news of the public,the leaders should keep some information concerning about themselves and devote themselves to the public.
