From mypoint of view, though scandal can take our attention to aware and solve someproblems, they can lead matters go to the opposite side.

To begin with, scandal can immediatelyattract populace’s attention to work out and realized problems, which beencovered by fictitious facts, especially refer to famous people. In the rapidrhythm society, people have to live under pressures, coming from family, workand even himself or herself, and dull life style; in these case, when there aresome scandals about any celebrated person, people are boiled. Probably, manypeople will discuss it whenever they meet with friends, workmates or on theBBS. During their discussion, they will find the truth or form an correctopinion about the person or this matter. A single example will serve toillustrate the phenomenon. Mike Jackson, a super rock star, were popular inworld wide until an scandal about him was reported, which point out he wasaccused of sexual harassment of little boy. Undoubtedly, this scandal wasdiscussed in any where; and many fans of him aware that their idol is not sucha prefect person as media reported before. In a word, scandal can stimulatepeople to discuss and to think the reality behind artificial surface.

Nonetheless, if public pay too muchattention to scandal; much bad effect will be product to society. Can youimagine that media, such as television, broadcast, newspaper and Internet,reveal and report scandal that occurred in every country and every field ineveryday? Can you imagine how feeling does children have when they contact sucha behavior that offend the moral sensibilities of society everyday? Obviously,if we pay much attention to scandal, education of child will go to the oppositeway as we expected that raise children as a contribution one to society.

Furthermore, if scandal cannot becontrolled appropriately, they will bring too many aftermaths seriously andlead the affair go to the opposite side. Take a case of Belgium food scandal as an example.The scandal unfolded in late May 1999 after the government revealed that a widevariety of Belgian foodstuffs might have been contaminated by dioxin. InJanuary 1999, according government, a Belgian-owned company mixed dioxin-taintedoils in feed for poultry, pigs, and cattle, which then sold to hundreds offarmers in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. Government officialsreportedly learned of the contamination several months later, but they allowedmore than a month to pass before warning the public about potential healthhazards. Public, aware this matter from media due to government didn’t controlit well and leak it out, were so anger to government and pull the politicalsystem down. In other words, the government, not dominate the scandal in a goodway, was ruined by their incorrectly behavior.

To sum up, though scandal can wake populaceup to the reality, it will bring bad effect if we pay much attention to it andif we don’t control it in a good way. So, we have to balance the impact thatscandal would bring out.
