It is undoubtably that the contemporary era is a era of Information.Due to the widely usage of TV and worldwide computer connections,people can know all the information in every conner of the world and connect with other people no matter where they are.Consequently,some people assert that it is a inevitabe trendency that the tourism will decrease and eventually obsolete.In my view,the assert is in the extreme,I contend that although the tourism will be influenced by the popularity of TV and worldwide computer connection in some certain aspects,the tourism in all won't become obsolete.Instead,even a boon for tourism,would caused by TV and worldwide computer connection.

First of all,let's analyse the reason why people got the unfairly anticipation that the tourism will fade away becouse of the ways of connection of the world.Through TV and internet,we can acquaint every conner of the world without going out of home,we can chat with and see our relatives or friends through internet without visiting them.Due to these,some people  mistakenly draw the conclusion that the TV and Internet already have had all the functions of tourism.However,tourism is not only gathering information or deliver information to other people,but also  some other vital and unplaceable functions.

The most vital function of tourism is to acquire sensory experience.People are born to have the nature of curiosity and adventrue.By screen,we can only view where we yearn to travel across so little a rectangular.But by tourism,we can view the engrossing places in the firsthand,it's absolutely different in feelings When we put ourselves in the real scenes rather than in front of a small screen.We can not only see,but also smell,feel,hear or even taste the stuff in the beautiful sites.Our curiosity and adventure must be highly gratified if all of our sensories got satisfied.Another important function of tourism is to relax ourselves from office or school.As we all know,the pace of the development of our society is getting faster and faster.People always feel suffocated when they are off their daily work or study.To heal this,travelling is a good way.Far away from work or study temporarily but to feel the nature of our world will make people feel comfortable and then store the energy in order to work more efficient.actually,The TV and internet will definitely spark our interest in visiting other places.The gratification of our vision just pique the appetite of our other senses.Just imagen,who didn't want to lay down on the dead sea when he see on TV that people didn't get drown on the sea?who didn't want to taste the raw fish slices when he surprised to know on internet that people eat fish without get them cooked in Japan?the fact is that most of the travelling industry sites just propagandize themselves on TV or on internet.

Admittedly.The blossom of TV and worldwide computer connections will impare the tourism in some aspects.The most obvious one is the fuction for tourism to gather information.The advent of internet radically changed the way people connect to each other.Before the era of internet,in order to do a confernce,people have to decide a anticipated place to hold it and be there at the right time.When it comes to a multinational company.It will get too troublesome for all of the presidents in every subsidiaries to gather together.The situation become much more convenient after the advert of internet.By the mothod of teleconferencing,all the members of conference can discuss issues to every other members just sitting in front of his own computer,which will lead to the deduction of travelling frequncy.Teleconferncing is only one remarkable application of internet.Through the use of internet,people also can gather information about one place on the web instead of travelling there,chatting with relatives or friends instead of visit them frequently and so on.These will all render the deduction of tourism.But as the fuction of gathering and delivering information is not the most important function of tourism.And since the vital fuction of tourism,as discussed above,will thrive because of the  popularization of the internet and TV,the tourism would in all get boomed.
