It is much controversial that whether human mind will always be superior to machines, and the speaker asserts so, presenting his/her reason as that machines are only tools of human minds. However, in my opinion the view of the speaker is partial, as some aspects of ability of the human minds are superior to machines, while other aspects of the human minds are inferior to that of the machines.

First of all, human kind is superior to the machines in fields involving creative thinking and innovation. As we all know, machines, such as computers and other artificial intelligent devices are simply execute directives programmed into them. They have no ability to create or some things. Although there are some reports that computer can compose music, paint pictures, even play chess against human, they are still under the control of database which is stored in their memory and their works are composition of other individuals’ previous work.. On the contrary, human have the ability of inventing things they need. When human kind finds the artificially calculation is so boring, they invent the computer which can help people to do some calculating work.. When human wish to arrive remote places quickly, they invent airplane. In short, human being is able to understand the word around them and try their best to change their life thereby making the word more and more convenience. Hardly any sophisticated machines achieve such accomplishment.

In addition, another reason for human kind is superior to machines lies in that human kind has emotion and intuition. Human kind has kinds of felling, such as pain and pleasure, love and hate. This great character helps people to complete some important work which the machine has no possibility to do. For example, in order to gain a large amount of ordering, the sales in a company can persuade their customs by presenting the advantages of their products. However, machines can not do it because machines can not immediately make response for customer's question like the human. Further, in fields such as music, literature, and arts, the ability of expressing the emotion of mind is vital to the creation of work. However, machines lack such of abilities, therefore, the machine can not make any valuable work in such fields.


However, in other fields which require the ability of large amount of memory, enormous patience or instant reaction to certain emergency, machine may perform the tasks which are hard or even impossible to human minds. For supporting example, one needs to see the computer which can do many complex computing works. while human have to spend several days in solving a equation, the computer can solve in several seconds. Moreover, machines can assume some certain tasks which are dangerous for human kind. For instance, the robots can perform the special tasks at the bottom of the sea, on the surface of the moon, and even in the vessel of human bodies, which can only be imagined in the scientific fictions before.

To sum up, from what have been discussed, we can safely make this conclusion, in some cases, machines can do some work which human kind are not able to do; in other cases, human kind can do some work which machines are not able to do. As for which is superior, it is hard to have an assured answer.
