When researchers administered the same dosage of kappa opioids—a painkiller—to 28 men and 20 women who were having their wisdom teeth extracted, the women reported feeling much less pain than the men, and the easing of pain lasted considerably longer in women. This research suggests that kappa opioids should be prescribed for women whenever pain medication is required, whereas men should be given other kinds of pain medication. Argument
52. The following appeared in a memo to the human resources manager at Baobob Inc., a large architectural firm.
"Several well-known, retired architects were interviewed in Architecture Today about changes in the field. Only one had earned a college degree in architecture. All others had come into the field at an early age by serving apprenticeships that required them to work under the direct supervision of an experienced architect. Several of the colleges that we recruit from report that many promising architecture students leave school early in their undergraduate career. Therefore, because finding talented architecture graduates is becoming more difficult, Baobob Inc. should start an aggressive apprenticeship program and hire students who express an interest in architecture directly out of high school rather than wait for them to get out of college."

8:00准时进场，一位戴眼镜的女老师会出来发放垫板，先为考生讲解注意事项，接下来考生抄写墙上的誓词，最后老师给每一位考生发放小柜子的钥匙，机房内一个女老师负责核对考生的地址、生日等信息，机房内还有一位戴眼镜的男老师。老师们都很和蔼。考生是点名一位进去一位。我是8:42进去的，10:12最终退场，因为进出考场都要签字登记。键盘和鼠标都比较顺手。考试当中出了点小插曲，我在Argument还剩下6分钟时，考场突然停电。考场内的考生全部出场并登记。大家不用担心，因为系统会自动保存考生的作文和其它信息。5分钟后来电，系统会恢复到断点，考生可以继续写作。
我的心得是如果时间充足的话，一定要将所有题库过一遍，并记住大致的提纲，以防实际考试时碰上非高频题目。我碰到的全是非高频题，幸好我平时就做了准备，把Issue和Argument的题库都看过一遍，不致于碰到陌生题目还来推敲题意。我迅速读完两道Issue题目后，坚决地选择写第一道。
顺便说一句，我是从7月20日开始AW复习，其间用到的资料全部来自寄托和太傻，包括《满分写作平台》、《老外280篇》、《Proftran嘉文博译》等，还有寄托、太傻上很多同学（例如imong、鬼谷子、huweiroger2002、猪荣荣等）的优秀习作，在此一并感谢。
还有特别感谢我的父亲，一个多月来一直在背后支持我，并与我探讨题目。因为我是独自复习写作，没有跟其他考生一起互改或是请人修改作文。
最后预祝gter们都能考出自己满意的成绩，我终于可以转战GRE综合版块了^_^。

考试前很没底，一度想推迟．后来想想大不了cancel．还好遇到高频，虽然因为心情啊状态的关系发挥的不是很好，但应该够用了吧．反正我是理科的，作文要求不会特别高吧．
