To state that the study of history is only valueable if it is relevant to our daily lives is to ignore the value that history
has beyond the day-to-day activities of human beings.It would seem to be a rather shallow statement that implies that humans
only live just to survive rather than planning for the futures of their children and the environment.

First of all,to study history is to look at a road map of human behavior that was led us to where we are today and usher us
into where we'll go tomorrow in the world.For example,the lesson learned during all the past wars can make for more effective
wartime leadship by avoiding mistakes made by past commanders.From the ancient Chinese strategist and author SunWu's
masterpiece "The art of war",we can learn lot about the stratigies and taboos in wartime.It is so systemic in the categories
of wartime stratigies that people still learn a lot from studying in it and so to improve the theory of war.Besides,we can
avoid stupid man-made catastrophes once caused by our predecessors.The history of World War inform us how to avoid massacre
and strangle such catastrophe in its germinal phase.Take the fascism for example,we learn from it that we must avoid any
possibility to develop a autocratic military government in the world.That's why we hold down the development of China and
Soviet union both of which are autocratic in govenance and that's why we must overthrow the suddam government in Iraq.We
established the united nation to help every society develops healthy and so to avoid the World war III.Moreover,the studying
of history may usher us into a healthier and well-being world.By the comprison of successful affairs and unsuccessful ones,we
can decide the government's future behaviors and the types of economy we should take.

To be followed,study history is basic requirements for some science and social subject such as archaeology and
anthropology.With out the knowledge of history,a archaeologist is unable to determine the theme of his next digging project
and even if he can determine the theme,he cannot speculate the exact location,the exact digging depth of the digging goals
and what kind of protection he should do after unearthing the digging stuffs.Without the knowledge of history,an
anthropologist can do even nothing,because what he has to research is all history:the original of certain races,the conflicts
between two races who have feud,the race development and so on,all of these are accumulated by history
stuffs.Besides,literature,arts,though not in whole,are partly some instance relevance of studying history.authors write
history books to sell,artist create masterpieces about history.Which all make our society more various.

What's more,study history do help people grow up healthier and add the possibility to get success.actually,the children and
teenagers are encouraged by the society to learn from the pith of the sage and celebrity.Learn their personalities,learn
their spirits,learn their minds,learn their behaviors,learn their process of growing up,which all contribute to their
success.We learn from them,follow their good aspects,correct our bad personalities and behaviors,and then more sages and
celebrities will generate in the world.Which can in turn spur our soicety to develop more rapidly and healthier.

To be certain,there are people out there that believe that only what affects them right here and right now is important.For
them,the study of history might seem to be a waste of time if it does not affect their day-to-day lives.But for countless
other individuals and groups,the study of history leads to improvements in activities that have an effect reaching far into
the future,beyond their daily lives.The futures of mankind and the environment depend on this types of people who have enough
foresight to study history to make for a better future for everyone.
