The author advocates that a global university should be designed to engage students in the world's most persistent social problems supported by the nations all round the world. To some extent, I agree with the author, for the most persistent problems should be solved under the whole world's views, and the other, it should get cooperation from other countries.

To begin with, one of the major functions of this university is engaged in the human beings' problems which need the perspectives of a whole world. Only the students of this university have an eye on the world can they pay attention to the problems that have long puzzled people and would make a big progress in the solving process. Just as the college of economics in our university , all of their students should  be sent to foreign country to work for a certain time to  get experience and know more about the world ,thus  they can think at the standpoint of a global angle, and then make good progress for this long puzzling social problems. This illustrates the point that only by a whole world view can this university's student engage in these tough problems.

From a practical point of view, this work should be done with the cooperation of many countries involved in . Just think that if a country just asks for it's own beneficial goals, and does not give any support to the solving group, what is more , cause so much trouble for the people concerned ,which, of course, would slow down the process of solving this problem and even worse cannot make any progress and even fails. In other words, the nations concerned should lend support to the development of the university, for its' own merits and for the whole worlds', just as a saying goes: "all for one and one for all". People should think for others besides his own, and thus could make the whole world benefit most.

There is no denying that overemphasizing the importance of this university makes problems such as nations so relying on this university that they do not spare any effort to solve the problems around them and even in their own nations, which will be terrible.

In conclusion, I hope it has been shown that the university should be founded under the help and cooperation of all over the world and with students with a broaden eye scope, thus this university will reach its' original goal successfully.
